I beat both my first go round (Though each took several wipes). Honestly, just keep trying. Also, explain the boss mechanics because people are going to be new in DF and both of those bosses are pretty unforgiving if you don't know what to do. Also, make sure your melee DPS is using LB2 on the bosses. Especially Garuda. Using it can be the difference between wiping in phase one and advancing to phase two.

for AV last voss, you need to AoE the egg and eat fruit when u got to 3 stack. depend on your healer , it really easy with WHM, he can go into cleric stand and Holy the egg ( 2 holy will do the job)

Even one Holy will do wonders. In my group, the Bard and I (Dragoon) were both AOEing, but with one Holy added in, the eggs were so much easier.

Hmm this is the 2nd post I've seen this week where someone is saying they either will quit or have quit due to the story being too difficult. It really surprises me, but I have a very strong RPG and MOBA background, so I think I might just understand the concepts min/max and incentive principle more than a casual player would. You should, as others have suggest, find a Free Company and look around online. There's great guides for every class and every dungeon. I'm sorry you're having trouble to the point of frustration, but that will bring an even greater resolution when you beat these battles. And you WILL beat them eventually! :D

On my first time in AV I was going as WHM. I didn't do anything but heal and we failed time after time. When there was only like 7 minutes left I decided on our last attempt that I will cast holy ( I didn't even have it on my crossbar) and bham! dungeon complete.

Holy is the ticket for whm in AV.

I had trouble with AV as well took about a week to get it. Finally on the last time I ran it the monk said something about the whm using holy, the original whm left the group and we got a new one. Yep holy does wonders for that place finished it without another wipe.
