Story Mode Titan.

I've found making friends with Scholars helps. They're really good at keeping up with the healing from the AoEs. Other than that, as mentioned before, stay away from the middle (some hits are unavoidable anyway and taking damage is better than getting thrown off the edge.) And kill the heart IMMEDIATELY.

I had pretty good luck with Titan, but there are other story quests that it took me MANY tries to get through, so I feel your pain. Good luck out there!

i suggest trying to find a FC that is more friendly and helpful then your current one try to find a social one because they usually have a bunch of ppl willing to spare some time to help with these hard story mode fights i know i would be more then willing and have helped a few ppl through titan

sigh... i completed this as 3/4 ppl's as paladin , in party was also SNM and BLM and Archer who got by 1st landsline that Titan done . But we had Titan hard experience so...

Someone on Diablos seriously do some community service and help this poor soul complete Titan. For the love of my first unborn Chocobo! D:

I'm sorry you are having trouble with this. I would help if I were on your server but I'm not. I won't say we finished it in 2 goes because we didn't. It took 20 and yes we counted. We were a group of 3 and picked up our healer through DF. We went through 3 healers in the end, one healer just left and another left due to their own lag issues which were pretty bad I have to say. We'd not read any mechanics beforehand so we learned as we went and tweaked things after each failure until we got it. I think the fact that 3 of 4 of us were on mumble helped a bit so if you can do it with at least a partial premade that might be something to try. It actually is a pretty brilliant fight though lag is an enemy for sure and it is not a very forgiving fight as far as mechanics go. Basically there is a lot of good advice in this thread so I won't repeat it but I really hope you manage in the end.

There are a lot of guides out there, though since it sounds like you're not getting creamed yourself I don't know if it would be much help. Here's one I put up on my FC site just after early access, though I'm sure theres much more in-depth and accurate guides that can be found on youtube and elsewhere.

I'd like to add, if your FC doesn't talk and you don't feel any support from them for these types of things, change your FC. There are tons of good FCs and you are on the right track being in one. I gurantee there are better ones on your server who would be happy to help.

I cleared this with a FC friend, him on sch and me on war, while the two dps died from landslide, the second one dieing just at the end of the heart phase. Managed to duo the 50% remaining. If OP is not a troll... Well, get some better friends, and get better. Also don't stick in a group when it is obvious they won't make it, it is necessary to let people learn, but if they always eat landslide, what's the point ? Move on and try again with another group.

I think this is a troll post, there is no way you have done this for hours and not beat it. My god what are you going to do when you get to Garuda??? If this is not a troll this is a sad state of the player base today. I DF'ed it weeks ago, none of us had been there before and we figured it out and finished it 3 tries. I don't even know what to say if people are having trouble at SM primals. People better hurry up and beat the HM's before these people get to HM's, this game is gonna be nerfed to oblivion.

just need to avoid his landslide move. if you have the latency issue then you can try to running around.
