So, then, your first time into a raid you don't ask for any advice or strategy before you pull?

It's not common courtesy to make someone watch content before fighting it. A gamer, is just that, a gamer trying to beat a game or portion of it. Everyone has a first time in a dungeon, before it comes up as a youtube guide. It should be common courtesy to let a player wipe until he/she discovers a good way to beat said content. This new way of watching everything beforehand is just fking pathetic.
No I pull and find out how it happens, if we wipe oh well there's 5 extra seconds needed to teleport back to where we died, I know next time not to do something I did to mess up. Before you tube vids are created that's what happens. Every player should learn like that, not be spoon fed the answers.
Just making sure you're being internally consistent.
I actually have no problem with people doing as you describe here. I have issues with people zoning in and asking to be given a strategy that they could have looked up before they queue. The problem is that both groups make very similar-sounding arguments.
HAHAHA I loved the "bieberizing" part, but yeah people wants a person to learn a fight/dungeon by youtube, truth to be known, I may not have have the same play style as the youtuber, if the youtuber doesn't play like I do then the video is useless lol, also I learn better by doing not learn by watching.
Back in the day we had strategy guides; never used those. It appears that you are forced to use them now in the form of youtube.
If it is convenient for you to dismiss a challenge, then fine; technology is convenient, hence makes individuals lazy, aka google search; no need to type the entire word or spell it correctly, but you will have to to articulate yourself at some point........
Like i said; never used guides for games; loved the thrill of discovery. Comparing the real world to a game is somewhat bizarre, not willing to risk my life, but i will risk my avatar's for the sake of a challenge^^ "Hey bro, lets find our way through these woods; we may get attacked by deadly creatures, but hey, it is a challenge; lets be trailblazers!" As opposed to, "Hey, lets start up XIV and discover this dugeon."
