You fail to consider how much potency you gain over the course of a fight as a healer hits for 190 (not 100 are you trolling?). That absolutely determines whether you succeed or fail in savage especially. Imagine as a dps you could hit the boss with a 1900 potency attack on a 25 second cooldown. How OP would that be? Well that's the same potency as a whm casting glare 10 times over the course of 25 seconds. That's a lot of potential. This is why as a party you want to use all of your mits and tanks use their sustains as much as possible. Also because you want healers to know you appreciate them and to plz be your friend so you can get quick queues :3

My Mentor Roulette thrusting me into The Interphos and bracing myself for the one or two players that go "Yaaas queen" the moment that cutscene begins to play once we've been rendered immobilized. That's the fresh trauma.
An example of stale trauma would be a PLD telling me that my damage was utter sh** after I was beginning to re-learn BLM after a long period of time of leveling my other Jobs ("your damage is dogsh** and is falling beneath mine"). It only occurred after the shock that I could have easily silenced the player with a reminder that addons, like damage meters, aren't allowed and they had given me proof enough to file a case, if badgering a player relearning the rotation wasn't enough of a community rule finger-wag.

The previous night I was running an alt character as AST, people might have seen her over the past few weeks - Blue haired Viera female running with a female Au'Ra in team. Last we get Copperbelk Mines Hard. We end up wiping a few times because one of the DPS keeps pulling other enemies to my tank friend despite them saying 'dont do that again please.' and one point takes their time to scold me about how to 'properly' use AST cards. After that I just felt like crap and didn't really have much motivation to keep going, but my friend kept me along. Then for MSQ we got..Maridanum? (I can't spell that name properly, apologies) And another DPS rushes ahead with At Arms Length popped and gathered mobs. I politely say 'Please let the tank lead.' they respond 'i was getting mits to help them, but okay'. I had to heal the DPS from almost 25% (Guestimating) health. Tank and DPS argue during second boss, I ask them to stop fighting and calm down. Second DPS is silent the whole time. First one essentially goes 'yeah whatever' and we finish the roulette.

I remember the other night signing up to do Trial roulette, got in and it was Valigarmanda and one of the tanks just goes 'no' and left. I laughed so hard, but we got an instant replacement and cleared easily. Tho at one point there are 3 'pillars' that need to be beat down while big floor aoe's go off, and stack markers constantly needing to be done, and a poor guy got nuked in the middle of that. :o

I realize you're one of those people who truly believe that healers must strictly heal and not bother with dps and force others to carry them, so I'll be brief.

Still the fact stands that the party I was in was forced to carry someone who was playing lethargically. Everyone absolutely should contribute to doing their fair share of damage. Yes, even healers. SE gave you guys dps buttons for a reason. Use them. Love them. Cherish them. Because if you don't use them, you're gonna get asked a lot of questions as to why you're not contributing to party dps, and quite possibly, kicked from duties.

JoCat made some very good guides for healers. You probably should watch them and realize that, yes, healers must contribute to dps.

Again, you did ULTIMATE WEAPON NORMAL. We all are overgeared to hell for that fight. You wiped because your whole group was bad, not because the healer didn‘t do enough DPS

Considering the healer was only contributing 5% of the total damage, I don't think it's fair to exclude the healer from the equation given how healers in this game do dish out respectable amount of damage that's often goes unnoticed. IIRC the ratio is like 60% from DPS, 25% from tanks, and 15% from healers(?). It could be skewed for being synced down to lv50 though, but point still stands: the healer also shares part of that blame. If that 15% is missing, then the two other in the role has to work harder to make up for that missing contribution.

Just report him. The community already has enough issues without e-genitalia measurers that got lost on the way to Warcraft. Maybe it'll convince him to head home.

i don't even believe that he was parsing that fight, WHO would parse Ultimate Weapon normal? He pulled those numbers out of thin air afaik. And still the fact stands that if you fail Ultimate Weapon Normal with the Healer even doing 0% your group as a whole, DPS included, was just bad.
