Well that all could be due to things trying to revert to how they were before Zodiark changed the flow of the aether currents. Even if what we have seen now is minor it doesn't mean that something major won't happen down the road as there were parts where stagnation was happening. I.E. the places the Final Days struck first as things were akin to a creek or river bed drying up. Or having a barely there trickle.

As to the whole Star has a will of its own thing. I think it's not as crazy sounding as it is. As we get told Zodiark became it and then Hydelean post sundering. That and we know that for the most part it's the Star that chooses if anything gets a soul. Which would imply we have some kind of Mogo or Unicron situation. Though hopefully we're not dealing with a Unicron. I just hope what the Golden Dhyata translated from that book won't get ignored due to not everyone having done the Studium Quests.

I guess I'm just tired of them re-bringing it up along with a few other things and then still be super vague about all of it. I know that part if it has to be due to not everyone reading these side stories or having done every quest line so they have to gradually bring it into a place where everyone will get said information. It's why stuff with the 13th is interesting and at the same time huge exposition dumps. As they're feeling the need to cath up anyone who only does the MSQ or whatnot.

So, even if I have a lot of doubts that they ever will give us more information on things like what really the new life that was going to be used in the 3rd sacrifice was or what the days surrounding the sundering were like. Both the lead up and the first few days afterwards. That if or when they finally give us more concrete information it'll be after they've felt they have caught everyone else up.

Which is probably the one thing that drives me bonkers about their writing. Like I get it and I understand that due to how this is an MMO and people can do whatever content they want at whatever pace they want to and so some things us story completionist might already know about the vast majority of the playerbase might not. And it's fine to a degree as until recently with how they are dealing with all of the tidbits you only get if you play the MSQ as a reaper wasn't happening and now it is.

There are of course, no rules about what topics are discussed. But when the same subject is brought up over and over, and the same points are made by everyone over and over, with no advancement in the discourse at all, then you can't really blame people for getting bored and walking away from the subject.

They're welcome to walk away and have have threads on the topics they want to talk about, but as I said I'm getting really tired of people saying what we are allowed to talk about

It's a two way street though. People who want to continue to talk about a topic or topics end up shutting out those who feel that at this point in time feels as though one were trying to find the smallest of meat left on a fish bone long gone picked clean that not even the hungriest scavenger thinks twice about inspecting. I don't feel as anyone can quantify who has more right or weight to their argument as to whom has the right to shutout the other side of talking about a topic or two on a public forum. Just don't act surprised or angry when you get push back if some groan at seeing said "debate" is being revived by someone.

If the theory that Golbez is dropping the moon onto the 13th to stabilize it is correct, then it may be left in a state almost identical to the First, where there's a "Norvrandt" section that's entirely habitable, and then the rest of the Shard. If that's the case, then the First and the 13th would technically cancel each other out in terms of horrificness. You mix that level of darkness with the same level of light, and they'll balance out.

Sure, you're allowed to discuss what you want, but do you really want to ask the same question over and over when we have no information to bring us any closer to the answer?

I think it's something worth talking about and I really don't like the push by a few very vocal people here that we're not allowed to talk about topics that are of interest to people

It's not that you're not allowed to talk about it, it that we've already talked about it for months. We've discussed it so much that there's no new discussion to be had.

Do you actually want to continue to repeat the same exact conversation for several more months? Without further canon to change the shape of the conversation, there's nothing else we can do with the topic.
