Absolutely ridiculous, yes the dev team deserves this negativity. You have one of the few mmos that can sustain a monthly subscription, and ONE issue, THE SAME EXACT ISSUE has been going on for more than 24 hours?

Its 2017, how is one thing taking this long to fix? And your "fixes" that you are putting through are breaking the servers? Something else is going on here, It feels like SE is hiding a bigger problem.

Is there really NOTHING that can be done to fix this issue?

And what timeframe do you find acceptable? Its been over 24 hours. Are the developers only wrong after a week of this garbage? A month?

They absolutely do owe. They advertised early access for preorder, one of thier major selling points. This is not the type of issue that should ever make it to live customers. This is not a bug, this is gross incompetence.

I think sitting there trying to decide if a developer is "wrong" or "right" is ridiculous. Like, what do you think goes on when they make these games? Like are we even sure this is the same problem that has happened before? Just because it seems the same doesn't mean it is. The hyperbole and salt in some of these posts are overboard. It is 2017 and MMOs are not new. It is par for the course for shit to go wrong at launch. Be grateful you have a game director who stays engaged with the community and a company that is actively trying to keep you guys satisfied instead of setting them on fire everytime they do something "wrong"

If you are honestly this butthurt then there are tons other games. "Early access" means stress test. It has for every single game that has launched because the barrier for early access is just buying the game. Just because you read into the early access being some sort of super secret squirrel launch that was gonna be ready to go doesn't mean they owe you anything. If this shit is still jacked by the launch date then you are more then justified in wanting to burn the developers.

It works flawlessly right now in Shiva EU, one of the more populated servers. I suppose its just a matter of letting the population at that particular point stretch out a little.

Final Fantasy is known for its story, it's been 26 hours since early access has started. I have been on since the servers came up and still haven't made it past cold steel with all the "concessions" that were made. It seems like a load of bullshit. I have supported this game since 1.0 and you are going to tell me to do something else and check back later. You just need to calm down? Well its been 26 now. Then you want to say hey the server aren't going down cause we are bottlenecking you since we don't have enough instance servers or our servers can handle the load but like 2 people from each world every hour getting through a rng questline. The bottom line is this is completely unacceptable. It seems like you might need to take the game down because you have failed and you can't obviously manage to fix this issue in a reasonable time. Just keeping it up makes you have to deal with all the other problems and currently there shouldn't be anything else besides this on your plate.

I would not call two posts telling us to stop playing the game and wait it out staying engaged with us. The city was burning around their tower so they poked their heads out to tell us to hang tight as they went back in to conduct sorcery. Other developers would at least bother to give a "stuff's still on fire but we haven't forgotten" message. We know they're working on it. But we don't know anything else. No plans of action, no reassurances, nothing. That's why so many people are upset- problems happen, especially on the first day of a major expansion. But the lack of communication and slow, inadequate response is really pissing people off.

Disgust, pure disgust is what I have when seeing these types of post. Balmung melting under the stress that is ok that is out of the developers hands. Putting instances that you don't have enough into game play, your fault. Quit defending this. This isn't a stress issue. This is we are so awesome we can have NPC type doors at the busiest locations in the game. How well did that work out?

I also hope that people that feel the need to gate stuff behind MSQ never get past this hell hole. If people could just explore do quests in other zones gather fly they wouldn't have so much hate.
