Suggestion: As marriage is a perfect gil sink.. why not make it something people can benefit from?

Expensive gil fee for the ceremony and invitations, Disciples of Hand can craft the outfits and any other things wanted in the ceremony.

Yeah I was thinking you would be able to get a couple of friends to help set up the ceremony. Maybe have a weaver craft the dresses with special mats given to you, a goldsmith for the rings, and they can finally put a use to the multi-craft giant cake for culinarians.

Well I play a female character and so does my fiance, guess it would be good for us to be able to take the plunge in game too :D

TBH, the only real use of threads like these at this point is just for people to quickly see who they see as bigots, or immoral heathens, or who just really don't give two **** and just want ARR already :P

This what the exact reason i brought up country issue, so yes i care about if i will be unable to play because of country's restriction and close mindedness, although the chance of it being issue is probably not big, i am still not taking chances.

I came here to play not get married, get off the game if u want to experience marriage.

"Pact" would work brilliantly. That's a fantastic idea at pulling it off without marring SE's reputation and allowing individuals to roleplay it out as they want.
