A few additions to that:

Thunder - Same as Aero 2, nada.
Virus - Nada
Eye for an Eye - Technically Lilybell achieves a similar net result I guess?
Fluid Aura - Nada

For better or worse, I'd also add mere resource management to that list as well. ARR and HW had to keep a tight ship on MP usage. Now it only becomes a true issue if you're having to hardcast back to back raises or can't stay alive.

Almost forgot! WHM even used to do dungeon CC very early on in ARR Dungeons. That was something I miss and IMHO it's something that could be revisited to spice up the dungeon formula.

I've been reading this thread for a bit, and I just want to mention something that seemingly no one has mentioned: Extremes and savage have been cleared with 1 healer basically doing nothing but healing

Taking this into account, that means that both types of content can be cleared by both healers only outputting half the damage that they do now, so the argument that any changes would make it so the healers that are accustomed to the current gameplay would become unable to clear content is false. The only time this would be true would be during early week savage clears or ultimates, but if said healer is tackling those challenges, it would be assumed that they would adapt to any new gameplay changes and perform as optimally as they can.

Add the most recent Ultimate, supposed to be the hardest fight currently available, to that list

edit: might have misread your post. Meant to say that even the hardest fight in the game doesn't require two healers (granted, doing it with one healer requires precise management of mitigation and healing -- something that should be required even with two healers, considering this is supposed to be the hardest fight in the game, but I digress

"omg but what about split mechanic that target healer, if it goes to a dps what you do ? you die !"
like ... adapting to a situation is not a thing ..., like Japanese can do it but not EU-NA players ...?

The kill took them a lot of try to beat RNG on forced wipe because of the presence of only one healer from what they said.

doesn't matter -- a fight of this level shouldn't allow solo healing, period. and it should definetely not allow said healer to spend nearly half of the fight spamming their single damage button. if this doesn't tell you how little damage everything in this game does, i don't know what else to say

pretty simple why he spent hes fight with only this dmg button, because if need do a heal, he doesnt have to break a rotation, and can still benefit from highest not combo'ed spell
because hes focus was ... healing
to allow 1 extra REAL dPS that will ultimately do way more than a second healer in term of dmg
