Got this idea for several weeks and it took me some time to find the perfect materials. Just found the glass (THE GLASS!) on Monday after searching through several shops. First I thought it would be too huge but now I appreciate its size xD
This is my first 'craft' since like.. ever and I hope it will turn out well @.@

Going to put a red one over the orange-yellow one with a face cut out... Hopefully it won't be too dark because of the two layers.

Stared at the real Splody... Now what mouth to use?
I am actually using the huge Moonfire Faire lanterns as a model and would take the shape of their mouths (my FC leader has a graphic tablet and would make me a pattern so I can play around with the size and actually use a good-looking one instead of one I badly created xD) but they are more round-shaped than the actual Splody. I dunno which one to use now @_@

Oh and not sure if I will add the arms. Maybe I'll try it and see if it sticks well and how it looks.

In game news, I managed to get my second relic (SCH, first is MNK+1) but am kinda burned out atm. Especially since I seem to have hit the wall content wise: we don't have enough members for a second coil group and because of coil lockouts we can't even really rotate people. And random parties mostly end up in a disaster.
