Edit: Plus from what I can tell, you should be the one paying them.

I've always liked FFXIV healer gameplay had an interesting balance between offensive actions and healing. This balance hinged on the proper use of several skills. Now (starting six years ago) our gameplay revolves around the use of one skill that occupies the large majority of our time in ALL content.

I'm tired of it.

So looking back at my week three Savage clear for healer, I used three GCD heals compared to 163 Dosis III. In fact, I spammed that one button more than I pressed every other button in my kit combined, which was only 140. Yes, that includes Eukrasia and my DoT refresh. In other words, I completely stacked the deck against Dosis spam and it still wasn't enough. At this point, I'm not even a healer, I'm a gimped DPS with some healing oGCDs.

So tell me again how much I'd prefer this system over actually using my GCDs to, y'know, heal more than once in a blue moon.

I'm planning on having pfs of 1 tank 3 healer free of charge... it'll cheaper, faster, and more fun than whatever you're offering...

Say what you want about WoW , Gw2 , swtor but they have classes defined by the roles they want to achieve , not so much gw2 tho , but here...is like they want to delete the healer class slowly , as a GNB/SAM main i support the movement

If only I could do MSQ as FSH I would at this point.
I retired my SCH with EW ; I guess I can drop the whole role (if not game, depending of the BS level of the story, but so far we got nonsensical actions based on pseudo-lore that doesn't exists because 'job quests are done')

Respectfully, this is rather too soon and a bit silly. Dawntrail isn’t even out yet. You’re comparing the content we have now, to job changes and content that isn’t even out and you haven’t even played, this would be smarter if after DW released and it was the same as now but we have been told content will be harder, more stressful and that we will actually need the extra healing… please remain calm and just wait like 2-3 more weeks. I’m sure half the people in here are the ones who want to Dps more as healer anyway so like… I just don’t get it. I main AST before anyone comes for me

If you can successfully sell yourself, then that only proves the problem and would force an actual response to healer issues. So, please, do go right ahead and have fun with that.

You're poking the hornets nest there buddy, good luck to you, personally im thankful I can interchange with my husband, I just feel sorry for all the other people this "act" will have on other... but then I guess there is the trust system so it should be fine :)

No the goalposts have been moved since then and the content isn't actually getting more "stressful" until 7.2
