We posted a video what we mean by healer large downtime, we explained that you can't enter current content because of your gear and yet you play the victim card? Prob be one of those undergeared people because the game lets you enter "leveling" duties regardless of gear and wonder why she keeps getting kicks or spaming full time healing.

Those WHM changes pissed alot of people off.. I don't expect them to stay behind those changes for long. The playerbase is already up at arms and it's not even out yet.

Unfortunately, even having a PTR wouldn't ensure a lack of issues. (see: Warcraft has a PTR and there are still constant class complaints).

Still would have less issues, play testing is insanely valuable in game dev and the more players you can use to test the better.

Maybe, maybe not. I am not against a PTR, but I have been around the block too many times on too many games to put much faith in it actually being that great of a preventative measure :)

I agree that this debate - on the middle ground - boils down to what is expected from a player in group content, and I also believe that this can be defined in a way that isn't tied to any particular job or role. What I've always argued is that each party member should try to actively participate in a way that's most beneficial to the group.

But I think we should also be able to discuss what's good healer play and what's good AST, SCH and WHM play, because that's beneficial to people playing those jobs. In this thread we've been discussing healer DPS and the best way of playing a healer job. Some people may ask "what about those bad DD / tank players", and if this thread was about DDs or tanks, we would argue for the same thing: active participation, supporting your group as well as you can and efficient play.
