Healers that don't want to DPS are like DPSes who refuse to move out of AoEs.

If need is not an issue, then threads like this one would not exist in the first place. Bottomline is that instead of pointing fingers at a game design that allows some healers to barely heal DF runs as so many have voiced, its pointed at a playstyle.

This community has known and openly agreed to for the most part that this game needs very little healing in most content and scenarios. That's been talked about and like I said- mainly agreed upon, so why talk about it more?

Which leaves the next issue, pointing fingers at a subcommunity within the community as a whole (Who reminded, agree that healing requirements are HEAVILY undertuned) who instead of making the best out of a shallow situation (Dps or nothing) choose nothing. CHOOSE nothing.

So yes, you're trying to scapegoat with a well known and agreed upon game design flaw. The healers may not have to heal much, but that doesn't mean they have to do nothing.

On an 20-30s pull, a SMN can put out about 2x the DPS of WHM. Nothing slow about Swift shadowflare/tri-d/bane/Painflare 2x/Bliz II/Deathflare.

On one cast, yes, a WHM will put out more than a SMN, but if you're talking about an actual full trash pull, the SMN comes out ahead.

2 painflares and a deathflare don't beat multiple back to back holy's and dots only matter if the enemies live long enough.

You don't seem to realize just how much holy spam does in quick succession.

The difference is you're trying to make the worst out of a bad situation.

I think everyone can agree that healing is heavily undertuned in this game. INCLUDING savage content, which is sad.

WTB larger healthpools(and/or less powerful heals) and much more consistent damage done to the party. Give me dose uncleansable dots plz daddy

I am fully aware. You're cutting the DPS of SMN short by excluding the DoTs, Shadowflare and Blizzard II (and enkindle etc.). Trust me, SMN does 5-6k DPS vs WHM 3k DPS on AoE trash packs.

Heres the thing im pretty sure most of these healers must dps people play higher level content as well. The thing is most people dont go past dungeons or potd, some dont even do the 24 mans the higher skill players dictate everything beyond dungeons. So really just be quite on this one you control the cross world party finder dictate whos in your party and have the right to kick, you control statics and whos in those.

Let people who for the most party the only form of combat they do is dungeons play how they want, you can not control a df so just shut up please you already have a lock over everything in the game. When im tankin I could careless if the healer is dpsing or not I only care if they have a full mp bar and somehow I manage to die. So those whom are complaining have so much say in all other forms of content dungeons are the most basic forms of content in the game so stop complaining if someone doesnt play the way someone in your static or pf does.
