Although, i am a bit afraid of what the price for materia will become… Also… How will we infuse the scroll with Materia, i wonder. Will it be the same as melding gear, where you have the chance of failing the “materia infusion”? /shudder

QoL updates are my favourites.

A lot of people have different things they focus on when playing, like some might do almost only combat and others may do no combat at all if they can get out of it. Even if they do do combat or crafting or gathering, they may only do one class or type of those things.

Buffs and new things added to only certain things can only be enjoyed by certain people, but they take a lot of time and resources so an entire patch may be only covering a small variety.

QoL updates are better rounded for everyone to appreciate and they can usually fit so many more of them in ^_^

Alexandrite are listed as Catalysts and may be needed to meld the materia onto the scroll (though I don't think that's correct based on our current materia system).

According to the 1st image, you are able to infuse 75 Stat points into the Sphere Scroll. In the 2nd image, they divided the 75 stat points between Critical Hit Rate and Skill Speed. So, if we look at the Relic Weapon Enhancement image again...

… we can see that the primary stats will be increased due to the upgrade process from Animus to Novus, but the Secondary stats will be replaced. This will be important for those who want to keep certain stats of the Animus Weapon.

This might be because both weapons have 3 secondary stats, rather then 2 (like the other weapons have)

Since you are replacing these stats, it will open up the possibility to lower a stat like Accuracy, so that you put its stats into another stat, like Determination or Critical Hit Rate.

It’s a good thing you are able to redo the Sphere Scroll once the Relic weapon has been upgraded to Novus. That way, if you made a mistake with the Stat infusion, you’re not stuck with the stats you’ve replaced.

I’m wondering, did anyone figure out why SE decided to add Accuracy to the Thyrus and the Omnilex? Is it meant to help with placing Debuffs on the monsters?

I hope we can add more then 2 Secondary stats on your Novus weapon, so that you can keep the current stat, but add a 3rd one (if needed).

Can anyone with an Animus weapon lemme know how to get theses Sphere Scrolls and how the infusion part works? I’ve been reading (data-mined stories) that the Infusion process works just like the melding of materia, where the chance of a successful infusion depends on how many materia you’ve melded into it.

I just want to be sure. hehe.

I’m not done with my Curtana Animus yet, but i will have to plan out my stuff in order to get the Curtana Novus and Holy Shield Novus.
