If it's anything like in XI, its just really a thing for roleplayers or people who meet on the game and end up together. It didn't have any beneficial values to it other than I think a certificate.

The only thing that sucked there was that you had to have a sponsor/coordinator to fill out an application on your behalf, and wait months for it to happen (if you got selected for the date you chose at all)

Or not, we can discuss it now and clear the subject since Yoshida wanted our opinions, and the sooner this is over with the better.

Hmm...

Same-gender marriage... That's an oxymoron right there! w

I can see this being convenient if a married couple playing the game as the same in-game gender had wanted something to show their union, but then again, said married couple as a father and mother might not so much fancy the concept of exposing their children to a setting where something so morally debased is glorified.
