God, I'd love to see something like that in an MMO, though I imagined it'd be difficult to tackle. It reminds me how much I actually love the small new detail of eyes subtly scanning the area in idle now, and I always wanted to know how Seeker/Keeper & Helion/Lost eyes are supposed to react to this sort of thing.

Though, and this isn't meant to dismiss anyone--because I know what it's like to dislike a feature of your race/clan, and I think opinions for potential character creation extension should indeed be heard--but for now I do hope they revert the Veena and Rava pupils... It's mostly just for the principle, though, and I think it's lame they missed these small clan differences on both Veena genders and Duskwight men. And, well, there's likely a good amount of people who did pick Veena for that option, too.

I wish that was just the case, but there isn't any 'getting used to' and coming to love the new soulless waxfigure looking guy my currently happy, full of life viera is. I showed the comparisons to a couple of friends and even they were horrified by the change. I will admit that a few people (and I do mean a few) have had their viera come out looking good, but mine is among the masses who look devoid of joy and life. It's saddening. He does not look like the same person anymore.

Thanks for providing this hopefully the issues will be resolved. Unfortunately I am still skeptical but we will see if this makes that much more of a difference.

I hope one of the things they address is the male face 1 eye makeup 'tattoo' that others have mentioned. Right now it's perfect and in the benchmark if you want it dark it's too sheer and if you want it light it's someone super bright and opaque.

Honestly I'm not holding my breath based on the listed changes in the benchmark. The lips issue isn't scaling, it's just an ugly texture change that even if it was refined should still be a new option and not a replacement.

I'm not too enthused they called a lot of these scaling issues and special data processes, but hopefully when they open it up for changes they can see the differences we're seeing. Most notable is the eyes being the inverse of what they should be. Veena has Rava eyes and Rava has Veena eyes as well as the eyelash feature on face 3 being missing and not displaying.
Given their history of how they treat Viera I'm not holding my breath either. How they can have 4 years of feedback about hairstyles and headgear and not do anything about it is beyond me.

Broken pipeline could mean a lot of things. But if there is a redesign (and so far all points that there is) - I would be curious to look at it at least without bugs muddling the waters.
Like, 2 out of 2 extra features I choice for my viera character are bugged out ><

Edit: we apparently are having Dawntail launch based on the tags here.

I feel somewhat uncertain even though I read the news as I feel like a lot of the changes to my M viera's face go beyond lighting and texture issues but hope springs eternal.
