RP shout ads are obstructive to chat and gameplay

Well for one, that's extremely rude to put words in someone's mouth or to presume you know what they want without having even spoken with them. For two, you obviously didn't read the comment prior to the one that I quoted. I don't know what compelled you to be so blatantly disrespectful , or why you've offered nothing helpful in your comment. You only commented to make an attack on me? Have you paid attention to what's been said and done in this thread? Probably not, since nearly 20 pages of it have been deleted by now. This is you confirming that shout spam exists in a data center that I play on, thanks for telling me what I already know. I'm glad you're not bothered by it, but many are. Thanks for the confirmation!
But im not so sure that simply ignoring obstructive behavior is in any way a solution to the problem, especially since the shout spam is completely unnecessary as venues are easily able to attract a large number of guests by simply making a listing in the party finder, under the "other tab" , and that fact is demonstrated daily by venues across NA, if not the entire world.

Even that. You complain about people being rude when you show the exact same attitude to anyone that dares disagree with you. You are so certain that you are right and anyone that has a different view, you just want to throw comments at them. To be blunt, your attitude is just as bad as everyone you complain about being a troll. So again, as per previous comment, being constructive, if it is harming your gameplay, complain to the GMs. If they agree, something will be done. If they don't, then it's not an issue, as much as you want it to be.

Probably trying to present an idea but having done so myself in these forums. Know that trolls and others will bury them quick or call them bad ideas.

Maybe this could be brought back to venue owners to even cut down on the sheer wall they post in shout ads.

I actually been to balmung a few times and they don't ignore it. Those folks are loud complaining about it in shout chat. It's funny to see because those chats are their culture. Ya would think them above all others would like a change considering how much their own chats are used there

If ive called someone a troll it's because they've attempted bad trolling on the thread. ie using strawman arguments , slandering, making up random crap and trying to use it to derail the thread etc. Hyper focusing on one small part of the thread in attempts to veer off topic or discredit etc. Just because you don't like when your intended victim has a backbone , doesn't mean that they're in the wrong. If you don't like how people reply to you when you attack them, try having a civil and meaningful conversation in the first place instead of throwing a tantrum when you get checked for bad behavior. Lots of people have disagreed with me here and we have had civil discussions about it, you would have experienced the same if you took the same route that they did. It's really common sense stuff. Seems to be a difficult concept for some to grasp in the English forums, but that's not my fault not my responsibility to teach people.
Why would anybody try to prevent new features being implemented when they're beneficial to all? Trying to stop people from having a better experience in game is going to be an extremely hard argument to make. I'm all ears, tell us why people should NOT have new features implemented to make their life easier. Please tell me what's so wrong with the idea of reducing chat spam and making advertising easier and more effective.
The answer: people are scared that changes to this will hurt their business. If it's too easy for other people to advertise, or if people knew they could have a very successful venue with just advertising on party finder, then certain people trying to silence this thread would have their customers potentially go else where. So in a panic they harass the crap outta the op, to attempt getting them so pissed that they snap, then they inturn get them banned, the post dies, their venue is saved.
You also seem to have ignored every point made in the previous message and only responded with "you got a bad attitude" but failed to touch on how you were wrong and how you make false claims of me attacking anyone who disagrees. I've defended myself against people who attack me, and troll my thread, and I've had normal discussions with people who approach the thread like a normal person.
