This thread is seriously vying for the stupidest thread anywhere. I'd say it's beating the "Regional servers" thread pretty well right now, but who knows what the future will bring!

yeah... Because history hasnt taught us over and over again that taking everything literally from a translated post/interview is not always the best thing. Until a dev post comes out actually stating its an emote then I think most of us are gonna side with it being an actual jump, even the screen shot suggests that it is. Even the fact that the space bar is used to do it suggests that it is. Because if it was an emote it would be /jump

So I have a question. It's seems that people that want jump are mad because some people that don't want to SEE it want a toggle. From what I have seen no one is asking them to not add jump. All they are asking for is a filter for it. So why is this a bad thing?

You guys are so busy arguing over something that would be for the individual player. It won't effect having your jump and you would be allowed to see it all you want.

With that said I would like to also say that I am NOT against the jumping but having the option to turn it on or off as I would like I am all for. :)

because if its not just an emote its a stupid idea, plain and simple. If it is indeed just an emote then more power to ya.

Most of the time, the quotes and translations are in fact correct, but I wouldn't mind if this one was wrong. I hope it turns out to be more than an action emote made to shut up the people that wanted it. The screenshot means nothing to me, that cliff is no bigger than the ones in the world we have now, and those we can just walk off. Under the situation as I understand it, they have no plans to implement it and the world is not designed with it in mind. Based on that, I see no reason not to have a toggle for it (and honestly even other emotes), and I don't understand why some people are so upset with the idea.

if its just an emote then SE added one of the worst trolling tools ever lol, I really hope they thought of that.

Dude... OP made a simple suggestion that wouldnt hurt the jump lovers and spammers, its simply for ppl that arent realy fond with, we can filter alot of stuff, why not jump?
Simple thread into a clusterfck...

It does hurt them. They want jump they want to enjoy it and they want others to see them enjoying it. For a community that loves to throw around "GIVE US OPTIONS! GIVE US CHOICES!" a lot of people sure are hypocrites lol.

Person 1: "Why..? It doesn't affect you..."
Person 2: "YES IT DOES BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH I WANTED THE CHOICE TO JUMP ILL BE DAMNED IF SE LETS YOU HAVE A CHOICE NOT TO SEE ME JUMP!"
