Meh, my eight stacks of Silver Arrows went somewhere. . .

Why would you need a price history when ppl SET their price and you can see the SET price when you use the item search counter.... the only real need for a search history is if your trying to sell an item that either isn't in the wards or some @$$hole as put up for 999,999,999... Not to mention anyone that wanders around looking for a specific Item from one retainer to the next has to be a complete moron to not use the search feature that puts a nice lil red star on the retainer with said item... Wandering from one retainer to the next is great for window shopping but when you wanna get a specific item, That is what the search function is for... There is no problem with the Market ward system other than a few things that need improvements as they have stated they are doing and a few trolls that complain because they like to.
It's user friendliness plain and simple. Sure you could check the prices by keeping a note.-book and riding bicycle 10 miles to north between every action but if the system is designed to meet player's needs then there won't be any absurd hassle and playing the game will be a lot more fun.
Designing a good interface is about making sure player needs are catered to not about trusting their perseverance to withstand bad design.
Fixed it....
I'm sorry your confusing something.... There is no need for a price history when there is an item on at a price that is reasonable (999,999,999 is not). You are not bidding blindly for an item... a player Sets their price and you either pay that price or look elsewhere... As for keeping a Note book to keep track.... They simply need to make it so you can mark a red * over multiple items.... The game doesn't need an AH this system is fine as is... although being able to Track more than one item at a time would be nice.
Edit: I would also like to note that in the time you have spent complaining and demanding an AH you could have searched, marked and bought numerous items...
Give you a pleasurable shopping experience.Quote:
What does an AH do that you can't do in the wards?
...I presume you also are in favor of blinking like a christmas tree for a minute whenever you use your makros to change a job.Quote:

It ain't shopping for Porn... The only thing an AH does different is it allows you to buy the item from the search counter...
Doesn't bother me in the slightest... I'm neutral on that subject...Quote:

An auction house would be nice.
AH is unnecessary now. Sorry to burst your bubble.
Search window needs refinement though!
P.S. None of you are asking for an auction house, you're asking for a broker. Shows how clueless the majority of you are.
I'd like a price history... and it's not for me as a buyer, but rather me as a seller. I vendor over half of my items because I have no flipping clue what they sell for, or how useful they might be. I could find the rarest item in the game, +3, toss it on my retainer and check the MW periodically for the appropriate price. After checking for several days, nobody posts one for me to gauge, so I vendor it.
Is this the kind of system you people want? Really? I don't know if "X Obscure Material of +9 Awesomeness" is amazing or not. Some +3 items sell for absolutely ridiculous prices compared to similar items, or even compared to the end product the item is used to make. It's really hard to judge what to sell some items for when they never pop up on the MW, and consider this situation massively worse for casual players that can't watch every item on the MW every day.
I'm all for sellers setting their own prices on end products, but we should really have SOME kind of price history, even if it's just "Last item sold for: XXX". I'd be fine without a full history, just a simple way to judge the value of something.
