Translations (JP to English)

Nora started a thread about where linkshell list and friend list shows friend is online but when you send message you get no response and can't tell if that player is away or not. So if possible to add a feature to show the away status on the friend list/linkshell list.

JP side got a thread going about rank/class specific gears such as artifacts from FFXI should be only worn by that specific job, but same time having level restrictions where you must be X level to equip them. Rep responded on that one so here goes.

Regarding adding rank restrictions to gears, in patch 1.17 we added class specific gear, and in 1.18 we added equipment which requires certain minimum rank require to equip.

Hey Reinheart, how do the Japanese players feel about patch 1.18? Do they have the same complaints as the English players?

Pretty much the same but don't see any OH MY GOD SE YOU KILLED THE GAME threads in the JP side lol.
People saying stuff like:

• cure spells MP cost is bit too much
• cure's hate is too high compared to hate you get from provoke skills.
• 10% loss on gears is way too much
• UI fixes on the action bar, hard to see the current selected action
• WTF SE you messed up gather leve spots with active mobs
• Why does PUG only fighter class you have to spend MP on those 2 actions that didn't use any MP/TP (dunno english name... the one that gives extra attack, and gain evasion.)
• Archers recast too long
• Multiple mobs (in one fight) on so called now "solo" leve's needs to be fixed.
• Make animation while running and changing active/standby mode
• Did SE really test this thing!?!?
• Want to go inside the house in the rest area!
• OMG no the bikini's are going to ruin the game
• MRD AA super super slow!! (overall all class)

Adding some more...

• You guys are making this for PS3 yet, you made it harder to play with a game pad.
• Why did you have to change Limsa BGM? Gridania new BGM good!
• If you don't want us to rate 1.18 and wait for 1.20 then hurry up!
• Want to use old repair items along with dark matter (can choose either one to repair)
• Great entering grand companies from same zone area as everything else. (sarcasm)

LOL, these were pretty funny. Thanks a lot Reinheart, it's interesting that no matter the differences in language and culture, our complaints are still the same lol.
