I barely post in the tales thread about my own stories, what do you mean? The vast majority of runs, I don't even post. The ones I post in here I feel are worthy of a vent. In this case, the tank was shifting the blame on me, as if I couldn't handle the pulls. They can get another healer to babysit, I took my penalty.

I rarely encounter the no mitigation tank but when I do and I'm the healer, I'm out.

When I started joining enrage to clear parties, I'd leave if people were failing mechanics or assholes. No matter where you are in your prog, it's always better to find a new group of people than it is to tacitly support poor behaviour by allowing them to potentially get their clear with you. Was running 50/60/etc roulette on my PLD, got lvl 60 Saint Mocianne's Arboretum. Besides me there's SCH, RDM and MNK, I think, don't really remember. At the very start RDM just starts complaining about the dungeon. They're lvl 63, and at first looked surprised we got lvl 60. ...okay, I guess. Ignoring all that, I'm starting off with big pull. Things duying way too slow, to the point I almost die with all my dcd burned, including HG. There I see RDm still staying at the start, probably typing. They catch up a bit later, but by that time we're almost finished with trash before first boss. Before tha last mob hits the floor, RDM just sprints in direction of the boss, making it there first and pulling it right away. My srpint is still on CD, so is everyone elses, so we're making it there a bit slower. We kill the boss no problem, but RDM keeps complaning all the way. After that...

I was hoping to skip trash to second boss by quickly killing walls and jumping straight to the bee queen. Not sure if that's doable after stat squish, but we were willing to try. With no HG to press and RDM falling behind typing his complains, we don't have the damage to do so and wipe. "Okay, that's not going to work", I say in chat. RDM immidiatly says "k, bye". He's not jumping the ship, as I was expecting him to do, seems like they thought I was leaving. Lol, no, not after such a minor setback. Taking it a little slower, we still make it. Last pull I grab all I can, saying to SCH I'll HG it again, so we'll hopefully make it faster.

Nope! RDM keeps falling behind again, still complaining, mostly trashing SCH and PLD as jobs, nothing targeted, so I just roll my eyes, not answering (was too busy staying alive to type besides). We almost wipe a second time cuz of it. Like, dude. We get it, you don't like the dungeon and don't want to be here, so why the hell don't you make it easier for everyone to get out of it quicker. Spreading your misery on others is not the way.

You have no idea how desperate I've been with the Second Circle lol.
Especially with my connection issues.

But yeah I agree with you normally I just leave.
Connection issues + shitty people combined it was a horrible experience.
Everytime things worked out it was all like '' not today '' *people start teleporting and my mudras don't register at all*.

To be fair, I am a greedy son of B when I'm tanking, especially on Zod EX.

I guess this one's a bit tame, but here goes, fresh from yesterday:

I'm leveling my paladin, and get Dzemael Darkhold in the leveling roulette. Ugh, okay.
It being my second or third time there overall, I make a wrong turn and pull an unnecessary pack of mobs. I'm still not familiar with the ARR branching dungeons, so I pull out my map, and let the party know I accidentally led us to a dead end.

We go on, and I pull 2-3 packs at a time, things are decently paced.
We get to a chamber with several ramps and ledges, and I pull several packs.
One of the mobs is loose, and starts hitting the healer. Due to the healer having to split focus, I die, but the rest of the group manages to kill the pack. I get ressed, and the healer asks what happened.

I tell her I mismanaged the pull, and at this point, the mentor-crown toting black mage of the group pipes up:
"What's wrong with you? xD"
I respond with a simple "wut"
She goes on to say "you have several 90s, why are you playing like a newbie?"
Then quickly follows up with "not to be rude or anything".

I tell her "I won't even dignify that with a proper response."
The run is mostly silent after that, except the blm saying "well, good run... I guess."

I did mess up that pull, this is true. I also acknowledged that I did, and know the blame for that one and only death during the run was my own (except when the healer stood in the tank buster at the last boss 1 sec beforf it died), but boy did that reaction sit wrong with me.

Thanks for being instantly condescending and berating when I slip up that one time, really does wonders for my tanxiety. Really earning that mentor crown, buddy.
Is it so outlandish to you that someone can make a mistake or bad play once in s while that you feel the need to instantly pull out the "noob" card?

On the plus side, this is my first time having a truly unpleasant encounter in my 7 months of play.

I had some trouble healing Smileton (Expert Roulette) yesterday during W2W pulls.

Funny thing is, the tank was a Warrior and after reading the forum and seeing memes about their self-sustain healing I was surprised how fast their health was dropping. BUT, after paying more attention to their buffs I saw that they were only using Bloodwhetting every now and then as mitigation. They also had all the tanks at level 90 so they were either oblivious, didn't care, or trusted their own healing way too much.

I lost aggro as Tank on one mob and the Healer just dashes off to the beginning of the dungeon trying to lose it, leaving me and the dps dealing with several packs worth of enemies.

Just run into my AoE if you gain aggro dont just run off..
