About the EU campaign for maid outfit and fat chocobo

I pay u for it i am serious!. then u cant say it is for free ive been trying to get the Codes for Months. i dunno I would do anything to get one tbh D:

Well I ordered a game on the 30th and didn't receive any mail about the promotion.
I'm trying to understand when exactly do they mail the codes since some people here seem to get it pretty quickly.
Should I send a mail?

I'm starting to get nervous about this... It's november already and most countries that are included in the EU campain just got a "will get campaign" so far...

You get the code by mail on the day (or day afer) that they deliver the product to your house. So if you ordered it on the 30th of October and you get the product on the 7th of November, then you will receive the codes on the 7th of November or 1/2 days later. Some players have received their codes 2 days before they got their product delivered.

They did this so players would not use the codes and cancel the product, like what the NA community did during their promotion event.


PS: Make sure your product is part of the promotion, because if its not, then you will get no codes.

They will send out the code when the item is sent out (not when you are supposed to receive it BTW), which may take a day or two after you ordered, even for stuff that's in stock. If you didn't get the dispatch confirmation yet (e-mail with the subject "Votre commande Amazon.fr pour "[whatever you ordered]" a été expédiée.") there's no reason for concern.

How can I do that? I ordered a hard video game copy that costs more than 20 €. From Amazon EU sarl, will that work?

I ordered on October 28th and delivered today (November 3rd), received 2 mails, first mail informs my order has been shipped, and second mail is the code.
It took 5 days for them to deliver my order, so yours will be on November 5th I think.

Now I wonder if those who ordered on November 2nd (Code delivered November 7th) will receive the code or not, because it said "Offer valid from 24 October to 6 November 2016 inclusive."

I'm still waiting for the promotion to be announced in my country (Spain)... I'm starting to get really worried about all this thing :(
I'm not going with the French promo because they said Spain (+ other countries) would get a different one, but... Can't believe I'm still waiting after all these months...

Well you don't know what yours will be, it might be worsed than the ENG of the 1st french one so it woul be safer to use the Amazon one while it still works :/

Does anyone know if the promotion still works? I really want to get a code myself but not exactly sure as it's already the 3rd of November and I don't feel like risking almost 40€ only to not recieve the code because it took them more then 3 days to send out the item.

Also, what would be the best item to order? So far I've only seen this one:

Could you verify that it's good for the promotion? I checked and it does say 'Expédié et vendu par Amazon' and at the checkout page it says it's Amazon EU Sarl. I also thought of putting it for fast delivery so I'd be more assured of getting the codes (I assume they would ship the item faster). So do you think if I place an order now I'll still be able to get the code before the promotion runs out?

Alright, thank you so much for the help Celef. I chose the amazon.fr one and put an order in. Ended up costing me 37€ in total. I assume the price was higher for me because of shipping and handling most likely, and I also chose the fast delivery which is only like 7€ more but I don't really mind it if it means I'll get my code. I guess now I just have to wait a day or two and hope I get it.

I really hope you're right and that if you just place the order before the 6th you're guaranteed to get your code but judging by my luck, it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't so. Anyways, thank you again, will let you know when I recieve the code :)

I got the code on the day it went into the deliver status (on the way, but not at my house yet)
25th october - ordered it
26th october - it went into deliver status, got 2 mails with the deliver report and the FF XIV codes
28th october - got the game

I received the order confirmation email from Amazon on November 3rd at 06:57 CET.
Received shipping confirmation and code on November 4th at 03:13 CET.

When the item is shipped they will send you the code :)

Received the shipping confirmation about 7 hours ago, and the only promotion code I got was for a 10 euro discount on DVDs, Bluray & series. I made sure my order was a game above 20 euro, that was sold and shipped by amazon.fr.

Hello, perhaps a bit far fetched here but would anyone be willing to sell their maid outfit code? I am from australia, if anyone would spend another 20 euros I will pay the same amount just for the code. I will send the money first, perhaps via paypal? (So you get the item, I take the code :)

You should be able to get your Code don't worry about that.
I did my order on 5th November and they shipped the game this morning 7th November, since the order was shipped and my mail box was empty i wrote to Amazon.fr.

The first operator said to wait 1/2 days, (no thanks) so i wrote to them another e-mail and the second operator in his reply wrote to me the code.

I don't suppose anyone got only issues 2 & 3 or the Gamesmaster magazine & are still looking for the first (issue 306)?

I emailed them earlier about it, and just received a reply with the promotion code.

But with my luck, trying to redeem the code just left me with a blank page, without any of the 6 ingame item codes, just a button that said "Validate New Code"

Tried to put the promotion code in again, and it simply said that the code had been used already (obviously). Guess I'll have to contact SE support to fix this mess.

I hope they don't do a promotion like this again.

Edit: seems like the codes were mailed to the email account tied to my XIV account, figured they'd show up on the code redemption page.

If only I had known about the French campaign sooner I might have arranged something with a friend of mine, ugh ;;;; Similarly to other posters, on the off-chance that anyone has spare EU codes for the maid outfit which they'd be willing to sell then I'd love to grab one for a friend of mine who has been dying to get her hands on it for ages since there's no telling when the Spanish promotion will roll around ;; I'd say in-game currency/items would be an option too if it were preferred but I imagine that's equatable to RMT and against the ToS unfortunately T_T

So they are still working on even getting us a campaign? I really hope that this means that we either get a new expiring date for the codes since the end of the year is not that far away from us or that might mean that if we get the same time restriction for the code we cant have a campaign like the UK magazine one.

SE should do compaign with amazon only. It worked more than others.

I also have euro account , so I bought the magazine with the maid/butler outfit code from a online magazine seller in England. Considering the outfits are account wide, it seemed worth it to me .
