Chiming in on the bot bid, that's one more competitor to the content that does not need to be there. A competitor that cannot be reasoned with, never sleeps, and doesn't go away under most circumstances.
If claim systems worked based off of damage dealt, this would be less an issue (as a duo or party, can still compete against that).
Disclaimer: I am not against open-world content. I am for a balance of open-world and instanced content. I am for separation of good loot from quest mobs. Grant a chance for any stronghold enemy to drop a key (key based on their difficulty).
