You mean 404 (4x 100 + 4x 1), but yeah, I totally agree.

I doubt the desynth cap will remain 100 when it happens. We'd have 30% chance to desynth high allagan when it becomes possible, it would be ridiculous. Chances are the cap will be raised to 120 or 130 when the time comes.

Hi, I bought Bridesmaid's Sandals and Best Man's slacks and both say 0,00% this item cannot be desynthesized. Has there been a change? (My level is low but wanted to see how low was my % expected success.)

Edit: Somebody told me in game that my level is just too low. Anyway it could say: "your level is too low, you are unable to desynthesize this item", or "this item cannot be desynthesed by you" not "this item cannot be desynthesized", I understand that as an impossibility to desynthesize that item by anyone of any level

The item has a desynth class shown when you mouse-over it. That tells you that it's possible to desynth it. You don't even get the option in the right-click menu to desynth it if you can't ever desynth it. If the percentage chance is 0%, you can't even try to desynth it, which is nice in case you accidentally hit buttons.

To desynth an r70 item like the sandals, here are your chances:

dSkill 40 or less: 0%
dSkill 41: 1.5%
dSkill 45: 7.5%
dSkill 50: 15%
dSkill 55: 22.5%
dSkill 60: 30%
dSkill 65: 40%
dSkill 70: 50%
dSkill 75: 60%
dSkill 80: 70%
dSkill 85: 77.5%
dSkill 90: 85%
dSkill 95: 92.5%
dSkill 100: 100%

Can anyone confirm if the new items sold at the Silver Bazaar vendor are i55 or i70? I'm wondering if these can be a good way to level up desynth on other classes.

They're not i70, I know that. i70 will be less than 100% if you even have 1 desynth level below level 100, and my level 92 ltw was still desynthing them at 100% still. They're high enough that a level 1 desynth has no chance to desynth them at all, however.

They're i55. At 3k each, there are cheaper leveling options at i55 for many classes. But, they're highly material-price-dependent, so if the i55 item you're making is costing you more than 3k, stop using it and start using the items bought from this vendor.

Guide updated with 2.45 stuff, including the new i55 buyable desynth items for all classes (at 3k each) which yield items necessary for the zodiac quest. Also included is some new info for MCDs. Basically, MCDs are going to tank in price once people realize how cheap they are to make now. And, the best desynth class to make them has shifted from GSM to BSM.

Fun fact: The 3-star items you need to make with the new desynthed items are desynthable as well, and can yield 2 FCIII's. So if you nq one (like I did...), don't forget to desynth them and maybe get something for your troubles.
