SE Banning players with large amounts of gil?

Now, I'm gonna ask you to think, for real this time, and actually realize that there is ABSOLUTELY NOBODY who would pay over a million for one piece of equipment. People who run Titan runs for gil do not buy iLevel 70 items, not even for second or third classes. Why would they? They can get more philos while they farm for mythos. Just think.
And people, like me, who have earned millions with our craft, aren't going to freaking hand over those millions TO ANOTHER CRAFTER. So please, stop coming up with excuses.

I didn't get suspended or anything but reading this kinda makes me sad, players all over the world playing this game with me getting banned by the masses? I thought SE wanted customers? I think they need to revamp their support staff, they are costing them a great deal of revenue with the amateur support system in place it seems to just be FFXIV though it's weird because you get answers on FFXI forums by devs ect. With all the technology we have in this day and age you would assume things wouldn't be so "Flintstones" eh? I rather deal with RMT spamming shouts and tells then lose half of my FFXIV brothers and sisters, so I have one thing to say to SE..

Start at the root of the problem, new support staff, go from there, plenty of people to be employed, plenty of smart people at that, I know if I worked for SE I would become corporate within 3-6 months because I would be a pioneer in customer support excellence and customer satisfaction, every customer would have a smile on their face after talking to a rep. That's what a good business strives for, that's how news travels, a great game is one thing but without a crew it's a ship headed for giligans island.

I haven't even tried to make gil and have about 1.2m. You get something like 700k just from leveling up, if you're a dungeon runner like me (who never bought a piece of gear, or anything really) 1m is a pittance. I don't think 10m+ is out of the question for some hardcore crafters too, but I don't really know, so I hope they don't break too many eggs making their omelette here.

I am sure they have the ability to track that income easily enough. For a crafter you would see a data table of market activity not sudden large amounts of gil. My bet is that SE is flagging the unreasonable amounts of gil and then running a tracking program to see how they acquired it.

The only point I'm making here is that nobody would ever pay over one million non-legacy gil for one piece of equipment, with gil that they have PERSONALLY EARNED. And I've yet to see anyone here make even one argument against that.

its not unfeasible for a legit player to want to buy 2 star stuff at these prices in certain cases like this, and tbh, other crafters do buy this type of gear as well. you can't use your own personal opinion and assume it applies to everyone

Again, you are going in circles. Your little scenario assumes that some crafter buys those Coke at ridiculous prices, in order to sell the created item. And again, there's no scenario where this ends with only legit currency exchanging hands; if you are able to farm the materials yourself, you get a person from your FC to craft the item for you. If you aren't able to acquire the items, you have no reason to even want the item that is produced with them.
If you want HQ Darksteel armor, why would you farm materials to create the items, and then sell them instead of getting a crafter to turn them in to Heavy Darksteel?
I am not using my "own personal opinion", I'm just assuming that if a person is smart enough to make millions in a brand new economy, they are not stupid enough to throw that money down the drain the next second.

The fact that people who bought the items aren't banned isn't evidence of anything. You hold the bulk of the alleged RMT'd money (if your customer was RMTing, not accusing you directly) so of course it makes more sense to suspend the crafter's account in order to prevent more of that money getting into circulation. If you all would seriously just look at the big picture, instead of trying to gather sympathy for your personal case, this would probably make more sense to you as well.

I guess the closest to "proof" that I did not buy gold, would be that because I wanted to make Gil early on by crafting, my main is still lvl 39...

I wanted to make decent gil to be able to equip my char in some crafted gears once I hit lvl 50, crafting / playing the market board well is too time consuming, as such play time on my main was very restricted.

If I were a goldbuyer, I'd certainly not bother with crafting and focus on my main class lol.

But I hate RMT/cheaters.

The big picture is simple:

SE have banned many legit players in this RMT witch hunt, while I AM glad they are now doing something about RMT, this could have and should have been done/handled far better.

We have heard nothing official since the mass suspensions.

We have no idea how long this will last before we get our accounts back.

We have no viable means of contacting anyone from SE (EU phone is down, live chat is not active during the weekends, emails so far have gone un-answered).
