Sorry, but I failed to see where Titan HM is part of the main story line. The Main story line ended before Ifrit HM unlocked. Titan HM is part of the relic/+1 quest and a requirement for attuning to Bahamuts Binding Coil, it should be hard, hard as crap, because binding coil makes Titan HM look like a joke.

You and many other people made the wrong decision coming into this expecting it to be just as handout as WoW is with it's gear and story. Go over all early dungeons and bosses...it'll get you prepared for later battles. If you still have problems getting over some things...then you really need to practice more...learn your class/job skills, put them in the correct order on the hotbar for your convenience...they've already said things will be toned down a bit once new content is implemented. The company just can't fulfill someone's desires and neglect others, because those individuals think that specific content is hard for "them"...while it's just cake for the rest...
Just be patients and enjoy what you have on the table atm... Yoshida and the team are not stupid because in my sense, they DO KNOW HOW TO COOK...! -

Anyway, the main story ended at Praetorium. Hard mode Primals are optional content for people who are looking for a challenge. That word, balance, something SE nor most of the general public really know about.
Balance would be a Story mode coils, similar to castrum and praetorium that you know don't drop anything and are just there to experience the story, and then the extreme drops nice shiny stuff coils that we already have. Why should they even bother making hard modes of existing dungeons, boss fights, and extreme primals if people are "fine with how it is". Thing is it isn't perfect, having only an extreme mode of something is bad. Having one mode of crystal towers, casual mode, is bad too. There should be a hard mode for masochists to go get their wipe on in too. The game can have different difficulty levels and matching rewards or lack there of for every dungeon. How hard can that possibly be to fathom?
They are adding hard modes of dungeons that already exist are they not? Why? Is it really necessary? Cant we just be satisfied with the current difficulty of whatever dungeon/boss fight/primal we currently have? Yea, we always want more options, and this is just another option to broaden the games horizons.
Of course, I'm not the kind of person to just lean to one side or the other, like some other close minded individuals who want it ONE way or NO way. Lazy dev team doesn't help. Probably take some odd patches to get "balance" in this game. -

I think what will help less experienced players more than lowering difficulty is SE doing something about the long queue times to some of these fights.
Another thing that will help, and this one is one the community, is experienced players being less toxic to new players to a fight/dungeon. -

They are already in the works of the expansion, which will add all you talk about and more. There are three types of players in game currently, hardcore, who level fast, gear up and beat content fast, and are left wanting, casual, who are decent players who just do not have the time to level as fast, but are still good players, and the last, the horrible player, who cannot follow simple instructions in the supposed "hard" dungeons. How many people have had a horrible time in Sunken Temple, just because people cannot understand the mechanics of the first boss.Quote:

Look at the posts here as an example, compare the amount of damage dealers to healers and tanks, its not SE fault for this.
