Are they going to at least acknowledge this?
They have, which involved locking a thread and putting into the resolved pile. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...thread./page12
It must of been a very early April fools joke or something.
Bump. Still getting dc's and error 90000's. Please address this soon. Going on day 4 now. :((
I have noticed the frequency of the 90000 error has increased significantly, I get booted within 2-20 minutes. It happened to me 8 times already today. Terrible Lag spikes included.
I havent faced this error personally but I have however been face with the Runtime error 8 times today with constand laggs and fram rate issues. I'm just going to wait it out and see what they do about It. Hopefully YoshiP and crew will sort out these issues. As I have said on more than one occassion. When this game works I find It to be my fav MMO easy but when It don't It's unplayable literally.
I am having the exact same issues, I mostly get it when I'm in Dungeons/raids. It is very odd and random. I receive this error about 4-9 times a day and is getting very annoying.
I don't know how many treads there is on this or how many players are having this issue.... but really it seems a lot by now.
I really hope SE can make a official statement on this...
I havent been hable to play for a long time now.... this is getting frustrating, enough whit the excuse, i need action reaction
ISP : Videotron
Connection type : Wired Broadband
Port Forwarding set up correctly
I have a ping averaging 20-30 to the datacenter (to be expected since I live a stone throw's away from the datacenter)
Keep getting huge lag spikes often followed by error 90000
Lag spikes are frequent but not always followed by error 90000
Error 90000 usually happens once every 15 minutes
This started happening right after the maintenance on september 4th. I wasn't having any issues before then.
Yeah, I'm dealing with computer problems as well as this 90k thing. It's quite frustrating.
Yeah, serious and sudden error 90,000 problems for me, too. Been on the game since early access and never had this kind of trouble until the last big maintenance. Now I'm getting kicked off every 5-10 minutes. Nothing about MY connection has changed, so it has to be the game. I'm a little relieved that I'm not the only one who suddenly has this problem, but it's making me angry that no one on SE's end seems to be doing anything about it.
I love the game so far but I won't be paying the monthly when the time comes if I can't even play it.
Got this 3-4 times in a dungeon
you know, at some point, when you played version 1.0 and experience what it was..... and now i bought CE and i have to post on forums for this a lot.... you have to be kidding me ...
Bump for relevance. I can't play the game or progress in the main story line thanks to error 90000.
Bumping this too. I know a lot of people have already stated it but I too have been getting the ol' 90k boot the last couple of days. I just got to white mage and it has rendered the game pretty much unplayable as a healer in dungeons. Can't stay logged in more than 10 to 15 minutes and constantly rubberbanding/lag spiking. Cities are pretty much out of the question. SE I am still pretty loyal but I would like to get some answers please. Anything at this point would be nice.
I've been having some major lag issues lately. I tried reporting it as a bug and submitting a ticket several times to tech support with no answer at all from them on the issue. It does take away a lot from the game when trying to quest or do dungeons to progress. But how can anyone enjoy a game with a 2-10 second lag and it isn't our fault at all but SE end on making sure the servers are operating correctly. The problem isn't my internet cause the latency to the server is only 50ms with a 58 mbps and 38 mbps, which is pretty fast for gaming:

It isn't my gaming rig either:

Same here. On the world its not so bad, but I just got disconect 8 times in the course of Totorak. It seemed it kept getting worse and worse, even disconecting in the middle of cutscene.
This is new for me, I had absolutely no connectivity issue (after I managed to get on) before the big maintenance this week.
Bump i'm still having this problem.
Well done Yoshida & friends!
You made a wonderful reboot of Final Fantasy 14 with a story and class system that really got me addicted, not to mention the beautiful landscapes, flashy moves, cool monsters and good music (I can't get Ul'dah's theme songs out of my head.) Thing is, SE's service is so mediocre right now that I can't even play it without getting disconnected every 5 to 20 minutes... out of the frying pan and into the fire, as they say.
I wouldn't be this saddened if SE only showed some concern for us and this issue, aside from "Well we can't really do anything in this forum thread to help so we'll lock it now. We'll look into it. Sorry for the inconvenience." Right now it seems like this thread is being completely ignored despite having pages in the double digits, and it's worrisome. At least keep us posted...?
Posted in here yesterday and having the same exact problem today, about 5 seconds after I log in I get error 90000 and kicked off, and yet again, my brother who's on the same connection has no problems at all. If this isn't fixed soon SE have lost a sub.
Edit: I got an E-mail from their support saying error 3102 has been fixed, firstly that isn't the error I actually reported and secondly, it's a complete lie since it hasn't been fixed.
It takes time for them to fix the server issues... As it is the JUST put in new tech to upgrade the current servers.
Still having the same issue here....
So i decided to create another character to kill time, and it works.
Still getting 90000 with my previous character whenever i try to login, and new character had zero issue or what so ever.
Hum...
I tried this as well, made a new character, haven't had any issues in the hour or so that I've played so far. Better yet, NPCs now appear instantly on my screen regardless of traffic, which was not the case on my older character. So it's an issue that only affects certain characters... how odd.
Minus the full world problem, everything was perfect for me until the major update they made. Now its so laggy that its become unplayable. It gotten better in the last few hours but I've been getting the 9000 and 3102 error non-stop. They need to stop fucking shit up.
Still getting this. Occasionally i'll get maybe 2 hours of play in, but most of the time i cant even log in without getting 90k'd.
Alt toons, not a single issue. Getting close to the point of not even wanting to bother playing.
90k error still going on for me, happens every once in a while or so. I have comcast not verizon.
Stiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiill happening.
Just started getting this issue for the first time last night, and have gotten 90000 about 5 times since then :(
Can we get a reply to this thread? DCing every 3mins with constant lag when I am logged in and it doesnt seem like anything is happening to fix it.
Yeah. I'm getting this a lot too. Pretty frustrating, to be honest. Really wish SE had the chops to make this MMO run nicely.... looking not to be the case.
Bump. Error still here. Still not acknowledged.
Still have the issue here. Wish we'd get some response.
Some of you are pretty unforgiving in your responses... Starting a new character on another world fixed the issue for me, for now it'll keep me busy until they get this issue resolved. I understand your frustration, but you have to be willing to be a little patient too. They probably weren't expecting so many people to play the game considering how much of a negative impact 1.0 had.
I suppose my wording was off. I didn't mean that it fixed the issue, so much as the fact that my new character on her new world has had no 90k errors thus far. It's a temporary fix to a greater problem, I guess. You might not be able to log onto your main character but you can at least still play for a bit until they get the issue resolved. There's not much else you can do about it. I understand you want results, I do as well, but threatening to quit playing like some people have in here really only penalizes you, in the end. All we can do is wait for SE to do something about it.
So, im still getting this. Anyone else?
There are occasions i log on fine and play fine, but it seems if i log out and come back a little while later- it lags out the second i load my main character, and boots me with error 90000 after 30-60 seconds.
Try an alt char on different server or even same one and its fine.
Free time is running out, at this point its looking to be a play for free then move on game :(
