Egg caps (rank 15, 20,30 and 40)

Lol there probably was no way to get the hats...BEFORE NOW.

The event just rolled over.

I saw the event people disappear for a few minutes around ~4am and then reappear...except for one member of the party...

There is a new quest available now. Check it out. All the other eggs and egg caps are now active.

That dev who left the message before was just messing with people, I guess.

Not sure what I did... I just got 'The Dreamer's Dilemma (Limsa Lominsa)' quest for 3 egg caps (vibrant, brillant, midnight).

Now I'm running around trying to collect Darkened Archon, Umbral Archon, Earth, Water, and Ice eggs for Midnight Cap!

Where can we look for the Dreamer..
It says we have to hunt him and get an egg from it

you can kill some special NPC, they drop the eggs.
In Uldah i found them near Nophica's Wells in 16/34 (inside the cave)
There were 2 black bunnies with eggs, both very easy.

i fond them by accident when i was looking for Cactuar Jack.

Each dropped 1 'Painted Archon Egg' (unique item)
( you can pick up 2 if you put one in your bazaar)
and a bunch of normal eggs (fire, water, astral, earth. lighting, wind)

As of today, the event NPC's now offer a new quest called "A Dreamer's Dilema"... as far as what reward you get, that I do not know, and will not know until later today when I get back home from work, but this is definitely a next step to answer your questions lol.

Hmm still no chocobo egg cap :O

It was just the second time ever I called someone a fanboy...
BTW if you can't see any problem or if you don't care it's fine, To me it seems there are a lot of communication issues and since people are whining since September about the most stupid things (can I mention the jump feature?) while I was defending the game I guess there's no problem is this time it is me complaining.

You know what i thinking?Instead of a easy spriggan hidden around a cave, they should have used a spriggan the size of Great Buffalo, killable after 2 hours of fight (kiting, of course) in a full 8 party with other healers outside the party, with repop of 6 weeks.Since the event don't last so much, only the first engaging will have the cap.
In that way hardcores would be pleased, and HARDcore enough '-'

U talk to the spriggan in the event and he'll tell u where the thief spriggan is. You find him, and he'll ask you for
one of each egg (minus the colored, painted and darkened ones). u deliver, u get smooth goodie.

I still notice in Ul'dah the Hume NPC says to us; (He is Hume right?...)
He says; He still wants us to get the eggs because the day of the Archon is drawing near and they really really need them. Perhaps we'll see another part of this quest?~ Or perhaps it'll draw to a close as this happens and perhaps patch 1.8 will hit us at the same time. Who knows; either way, I'm liking the Lore that they have tagged into this.
