Its that.its the same client.when i bought my game i realized that.the game that you download is the same.you have the game, you just pay for the key xD
ATTENTION. I had the same problem. They have given activation codes that you have to replace the beta codes for :) Don't make the same mistake i did and choose service 2 haha chose the same account service as your original (1) or be in the same boat as I am having to contact them to get back on service account one to be able to play my characters again haha. Call it early morning just woke up hurrying through options :P

Add me to this list. It's not just the 27th or 28th though. My account is from Early Access and I can't access the servers either.
I'm getting increasingly frustrated with this at the moment. I had to go through the maintenance issues, then my account issues, and now the server doesn't work. It's getting to the point where I just don't want to bother. Bugs are common in starting MMOs, but it just keeps compiling, especially for EU players where (Yes, we are the minority group target wise for SE and the least considered) we're getting the rough end of everything at the moment. Any more and I don't think I'll play the game anymore. It's just not worth it really.
I'd like add that I just got this problem myself. I was crafting in the game in now I was forced out of the game claiming the server was disconnected. When I tried to log back in, it asked for registration code. So I entered the registration code I was given for the early access but it claims it was used. It sounds logical because I was the one used it. Now I have similar issue saying that I have no active service and I cannot login into the game. It's a pity that I truly love the game despite the fact that I had problem login in. If I cannot login to the game and they do not fix this problem then I'm done with FFXIV:ARR, I put too much time already in my account and I'm not buying another copy because that not fair. I would like to notate that I have the PC digital version.
You do NOT use the early access code, you need to register the retail code. Where did you buy the digital version from? You should of gotten an email on the 27th with the retail code. Register this retail code to your mogstation account.
Assuming you live in NA, if you bought it from square-enix, they use digitalriver. Most email programs tend to send their emails to the spam folder. Check your spam folder, that is where mine was on the 27th from webhelp.v4@digitalriver.com
I have just had the same thing happen to me, though I was aware of it after looking at my account in MogStation and with the (X Days left) counting down.
I played through the open beta, downloading the client from the PSN store.
Bought a US CE from Amazon and for the pre-order code to input to my PSN, which I did, and continued to play the game through the client I downloaded for the Open Beta.
Been playing for 5 days straight now...and this has happened! MogStation has me as INACTIVE and trying to log into my PS3 client "No valid or active service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: ARR".
MogStation still shows the two characters I created and playing with the last 5 days.
....and no solution in sight?!:confused:
SHOULD ADD: I am playing the NA version of the game in Hong Kong, so trying to get tech support live chat will be near impossible for me, so I hope this gets resolved on it;s own and I get a response to the support ticket I submitted on this.

I'm having the same issue, I bought it from the EBGames website as a digital copy. I got the pre-order and the in-game items, but then I got an email saying it was denied and then I got this problem. I didn't get another email with a 20 digit code, just my pre-order code which is not working now.
When i put in my 20 digit code its telling me its already been used with my account.. lol The entered code has already been registered.

For the new posters, so you don't have to look at the previous pages. When you registered your early access code, you only registered the early access for the game. This expired today!
You still need to register your retail code. This would of came in the box for physical copies, or would of received an email on launch day for digital copies.
Just got kicked off the game. I was playing my retail version and had entered in my registration code that came with my PS3 copy. It says it's registered to the right account on the 28th, yet when I go to play the retail version of the game it tells me there isn't a valid account that can play it. So, yeah... guess it's another "wait to see when this gets fixed", kind of thing?
The CE I ordered is the physical one....which is now en-route to me having shipped two days ago.

-If you bought from gamestop, check your powerup app or site, and check on the ff14, and see if they updated the new 20 digit code
-Check email for updated 20 digit code

Can add me to that list =(. My game launcher doesn't even "Know" that I've been playing keeps asking me to Re-register everything... ugh. I know MMO's have problems I'm cool with it just want to know if they are working on it.
This is unreal how is this problem even possible???? Like Seriously, SE, you won't even let us pay for the god damned game right now!
It may be helpful to note that my email from them was in the spam folder but not only that, the code in the email was wrong. When i went to the actual site where i bought the game from and put in the code they gave me there it worked without problem. Hope that helps

Our problem is psn digital versions from europe doesnt work.se already said a couple of hours ago that they know the problem...

Most of you came for EA but you should have know that EA was a special offer given to those who pre ordered the game.
EA was a temporary access till 30 august.after today all of you need to buy the game and register the code.the code has 20 digits and need to be put on PSN where you redeem codes...hope this helps.just try the easy guide on the game website.
At least you guys got to play. I havent been able to play since day one because for some reason my 1.0 account is not recoginzed in my mogstation. Basically I have to buy the game again or nothing.
I don't know if this is worth mention, but have any of the people who have had this error actually picked up the physical copy and input the new code? (Gamestop players)

I'm not sure if this will hep much, but if any of you pre-ordered (digital - from square) I would say try searching your email for something from this subject line "Square-Enix, Inc. - Product Now Available". I found my email from 08/27, and I was able to setup the registration no problem.
Bought the Digital download from SE and I don't have a code...check all folders and nothing. I really don't think I have seen a launch this bad regarding servers and service. This is beyond ridiculous!
