I hope this helps some of you. I signed a new contract with BT at the end of Jan this year. Policy changed on the 1st of Feb taking away p2p throttling. I have just this second got off the phone with BT, who adamantly state that I have no fair usage limitations on my account at all. The lady was unable to explain to me why this horrendous lag is still happening.
I did a speed test with BT and at peak time my speed (7mbs) doesn't move. She clearly had no clue as to the issues here. I have kept the ticket open with BT and will get back to them if the situation doesn't improve. So even the players who have the "no throttling restrictions" are having the same issues.
Come on SE and BT, sort yourselves out.

Waiting for square to tell me its EE's problem.
Not happy. No early access for me apparently.
Seriously, on top of the fact the EU/NA servers keep going down this is a horrendous launch..ive been in some bad ones too...oh dear.
I've been with Orange/EE since they started (back before they started using BT's gear) so I got a pretty sweet deal which includes line rental, which I'm loathe to part with. If I upgrade/renew my contract I'll be saying goodbye to £15 a month line rental and unlimited broadband. (No Thanks!)
Surely, it can't be too difficult to fix. I may just take the above suggestion to get a VPN until the problem is resolved... not that I can even log in at the minute anyway. /sigh

Not only lag at evening but constant 90000 and 10102 and 1017 sometimes even 2002's as it was once said gotta catch em all

Again, priority to the direct server issues, but I'd rather not let this get swept under the metaphorical rug.
(I just know I'm going to look back at my post history in a couple'a weeks and cringe at how many of them are/will be bumps in this thread :P)

No, we are not being selfish other guys. All of us here CLEARLY understand and state that we know we are the last priority, but we do expect an official response!

Well looks like another night of unplayability ahead. I had a response from EE which basically said call our inexperienced call staff who will fob you off with some excuse. For EE customers its a different kettle of fish, the problem isnt EE is the fact they use BT's line/fibre to deliver their services. lets hope that when all the "big" issues are sorted, maybe this one will get a look in!

Odd, but today I haven't noticed any issues, although I'm afraid to relog just in case.

Hit 7pm. Suddenly 10-12 second delay :) Cant talk to npcs..etc

Right on cue, it begins! Even in low population areas, at least 5 second wait on actions. :(

With BT, same problem. Played for the most of the day with no problems whatsoever then 7pm hits and bam reactions from NPC's and spells take minutes to happen... -,-
Not happening tonight for me, i log in. Lag out after 3 mins are per usual, il be very annoying if we havnt heard anything from CS in the next two days. OH well
A little followup - I decided to quickly try out the VPN option suggested earlier in the thread.
It does definitely seem to work - returned to the game with none of the issues.
The problem I found is that a lot of the 'main' VPN providers charge for several months at a time, when this issue probably won't be around very long. :s
...Though fortunately, there was a free version of one called proXPN, and that works just fine. I'd recommend trying it 'til they sort this whole thing out.
BUMP - Confirmed this is happening on my BT Infinity Service, I have been playing all day non-stop since 11am this morning, as soon as 6PM (UK time) hits, the game just lags out completely, i was actually logged into the game as it was happening. I have VPN'd into my work and I can play no problem over our ZEN lease line. SORT IT OUT.
Posting to confirm that this is happening to me too. The game is currently unplayable, there's a 20+s delay when I try to do anything.

Well at least were building momentum here. Lets hope for a quick fix, surely its just the case of someone from SE talking to someone from BT?
Same problem here with BT, can't play between 7pm and midnight :(
All they need to do is make a single damn phone call to sort this out, 75+% of the UK are affected as the majority of the ISP's use BT backbones!
Bump. Also on BT. Been playing on and off since 3am. Encountered lag from 7 pm.. This will affect me greatly since that is the time I will be playing most, week day...

CONTACT BT/EE directly link to this thread and tell them to fix it or we will start moving to other ISP's.
Threaten the mac code. That usually works.
