All na/eu down ;/

More bothersome than the downtime would have been myself unable to join Duty finder, while others can, and creating a level gap made of unfair advantage due to poor luck. Nobody want's that (again. Ahem...) It's bad enough I had to roll up a new character this morning to finally get on the server my friends are on. I'd be livid if my leveling was hampered by being incapable of finishing my story quests, and held back from catching up even further.

Well instances not working doesnt sound too major... It's not like Cure doing 9999 damage on undead is it? Ah, those were the days.

Surprised the forums are still up too lol

or everyone on JP servers getting way farther than us? It started for them at a more convenient time and servers are fine.. For NA/EU it was at the asscrack of dawn and when normal people are waking up it is down for hours. heh dosent seem fair.

maybe just maybe JP server are maintainned by asians but NA/EU servers are by ordinary euro-american IT guy? :)

For those who aren't aware, this is the first time Square Enix attempts to make dedicated servers for a MMO. It isn't a surprise to me to see them having issues handling overseas servers.

used/using the downtime to go store and stock up on food and snacks and then making some dinner, working out nicely. :p

Using the downtime to make a new character on the JP server cluster so when this happens again (and it will) I will have something to do :D

Theyrde probably adding in new hardware to deal with the excess load. and it likely takes a couple hours to bring extra instance server mnachines u[p and running

Its pretty major given half the story quests take place in solo instances.

Now there saying fixed at 17.55am this has to be wrong

Seriously though... Make a JP server account and you will see that there is plenty of room. The problem was labeling the servers by Region/Language (whatever) in the first place.

Error 90000 when zoning or trying to do anything instanced. :(

Servers are back up.... IM in adamantoise now.

Same problem with error 90000....trying to zone into story instance gets you booted off the server and a spot in the back of the Queue line..

Well, the "updated" maintenance message says servers should be up 26 minutes ago, but I'm guessing they're going with the original time, which will be in 39 minutes.

Maintenance didn't fix anything, it just changed one problem to the next.
Getting error 90000

The game is totally broken now.. friendlist gone, AH broken, chat broken, retainer broken, duty server down...

Can confirm nothing was fixed. Stuck in a black screen.

Staring in trance at quest instance entrance. GG inb4 second maintenance.

Yep, I'm staring at a black loading screen as well. I guess they should have used that last hour ^^

Nothing was fixed with the maintenance. Was in the middle of the level 20 lancer quest before maintenance and couldnt continue because there is an instance. After maintenance still cant get in instance. Someone tells me to abandon quest and retry. Nope. And now im stuck at the beginning of the quest where theres an instance in the lancer guild and cant even get back to the point where I was. dissapointing.

Yup, infinite black screen still going on. GG fixing it SE. I am LOVING Beta Phase 5, just sayin...

yeah at first was getting sent to the 90k error but now back to just black screens...time to do more fates :/
