Sorry if this question has been asked previously but if I buy the collectors edition can i register the pre order/ collectors items with my old 'normal' account and then use the new copy of the game to make a new account and get the first free month?
They haven't confirmed that we can use the CE codes to 'upgrade' our 1.0 normal account to CE account. In fact, according to this post:
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...l=1#post995972
a german rep said that it's not possible to use CE (ARR) codes to upgrade a 1.0 normal account, and we would have to use the service center to buy the CE (ARR) items for $20. They've stated that pre-order codes can be used with any accounts, but the specific scenario for 1.0 normal accounts to CE ARR hasn't been addressed officialy.
I'll post this here too.
The situation looks like this (to me at least, please correct me if I'm wrong):
My account is currently a Standard non-legacy 1.0 account
* You don't need to buy anything to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn when it is released on 27th August.
Will I get early access?
Yes. You will be able to play in beta phase 4 using your 1.0 character, which will be before release on 27th August.
Will I get the FFXIV:ARR pre-order bonuses?
No. Pre-order bonuses will only be available to players who pre-order either the Standard or Collector's Edition of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.
Will I get the FFXIV:ARR Collector's Edition in-game items?
No. Once FFXIV:ARR service starts, you will be able to purchase a 'Collector's Edition Digital Upgrade' that will upgrade your Standard 1.0 account to a FFXIV:ARR Collector's Edition account, and then you will receive the FFXIV:ARR Collector's Edition in-game items via Moogle mail to all your existing characters and any new characters you make..
I want the FFXIV:ARR Collector's Edition physical bonus items too!
You must purchase a physical Collector's Edition version on PC or PS3 to get the FFXIV:ARR CE physical bonus items. Doing this will also give you access to the pre-order in-game items.
- Buying the PC FFXIV:ARR Collector's Edition will not give you access to the FFXIV:ARR Collector's Edition in-game items. Purchasing the 'Collector's Edition Digital Upgrade' will also be required to gain access to the Collector's Edition in-game items.
- Alternatively, buying the PS3 FFXIV:ARR Collector's Edition and registering it to your existing account will give you access to the Collector's Edition items without the purchase of the 'Collector's Edition Digital Upgrade' as well as being able to play your characters on PS3.

Yes. As a legacy account holder, you will have had access to FFXIV:ARR since beta phase 1, and will continue to get early access to the game.

As I said, this is just how it seems to be for me, so please correct me if I'm wrong and don't take this as a definite answer.
It is my understanding that Early Access is a Legacy and Pre-Order Bonus only.Quote:

Beta(Phase 4 or otherwise) does not equal Early Access.
It seems a bit confusing what exactly "early access" means as a benefit to any players of FFXIV:ARR.
For new players who are pre-ordering the Standard or Collector's Edition and Legacy Campaign account holders, "early access" has been granted to you as a benefit.
However, what exactly "early access" means is hard to clarify.
For most people, I imagine "early access" would mean a period of time before the release of the game where whatever character progress is made during that time, will continue seamlessly into the official release of the game.
From the information that has been presented to us so far, it would seem that beta phase 4 would come under this definition.
YoshiP released the beta roadmap on the Lodestone which states that Beta phase 4 will be an Open Beta phase, with the NDA partially lifted. The duration is planned to be 1-2 weeks, and all character data from this phase is planned to move over to the official release. The roadmap graph doesn't show any debug phase like the previous phases had, and has instead been updated to just show the official release on 27th August as the phase immediately following beta phase 4. This would suggest that all players, even new players who didn't play 1.0 will be able to play in this phase.
Legacy account holders were guaranteed access to the beta phases from beta phase 1. Some may count that as "early access", while some others may not.
To 1.0 players that don't have a legacy account, you should keep in mind that although it doesn't fit into the definition of "early access" above, you will actually gain access to beta phase 3. In the roadmap, YoshiP states that "All FFXIV service account holders qualify as testers in phase 3". This phase will also allow you to play using your 1.0 character data, however any progression during this phase will be deleted at the start of phase 4, hence why phase 3 wouldn't fall under the definition of "early access" above.
You can find all these details on the Lodestone's beta roadmap, which seeing as the official release date has been added, I would presume that the information inside the document is up-to-date. (Checking the PDF's document properties shows that the document was last modified on 23rd May 2013 by YoshiP himself)
Although I can't say anything officially, to me personally, it would seem that anyone granted "early access" as a benefit now won't be receiving any extra benefit that isn't available to anyone who wishes to play the game, regardless of whether they have a FFXIV service account already or not.
It would probably be good to hear what Square-Enix's definition of "early access" is to really understand if it's even an extra benefit at all.
Small correction: unless the billing scheme has changed from how it was in 1.0, multi-month subscriptions are a single fee paid in full up front. A 180-day subscription will cost you $77.94 / 47.94 GBP or 65.94 EUR at the time of purchase, averaging the monthly rate shown in the chart. Continuing on this plan would have you paying out about twice per year. The whole point of bulk rate subscriptions is that a company gets more guaranteed money up front in exchange for a discounted rate on the service.
Hello there,
here I am with a clarification regarding the info I gave one or two pages ago. First of all I have to say: I am not happy 'bout this. Second: finiteHP, you will be fine with what you did. Please read below.
Source (First quote bubble. Again translated by myself, please have mercy x_x )
Actually, I don't know what to do now =____=Quote:
Q: I played the old version of FFXIV and there are characters on my account. I'd like the bonus pre-order items and the ingame items of the Collector's Edition. If I pre-order the CE and add the codes for CE items and pre-order items to my existing account, do I get all ingame items?
A: You will receive the pre-order items, but you can't use the codes of the PC CE on an existing Windows-Account. To receive the ingame items of the CE, please use the digital Upgrade-Service.
Nevertheless, it is possible to connect the PS3 CE with an existing account of the Windows version, which gives you the ability to receive the ingame items of the CE.
Whatever I order, there will be one thing I can't use since I do not own a PS3 and I will have to pay more than normal.
EDIT: Did some math with people from the dark side of the moon. With the actual exchange rate in mind, the digital Upgrade would cost me 14,99€. When I buy the PC CE, which goes for 59,99€, I pay 74,98€ instead of the 69,99€ for the PS3 CE.
Gotta say that I'm okay with those 5€ when I get an installation DVD and codes I can register without doing additional stuff (like creating a PSN account etc.) for that.
Thanks for the update. I updated my post to reflect this upgrade path, though it's a shame that there isn't an easier way to upgrade in your situation.
There are more questions in Sasunaich's thread. Should I try on translating them too, or should I wait for maybe Camate to update you on everything? :S
Blah! This is so annoying.
I've pre-ordered the physical CE for PC (NA) direct from SE (because no one else is selling it). I want it for... 1) the box of tangible goodies... 2)a physical copy of the game (PC) ... 3) the pre-order bonuses (Cait Sith and Moogle hat)... AND 4) the 4 digital CE bonuses (Helm of Light, Coeurl Mount, Behe barding, Baby Behe minion)
Now your quoted post (not blaming you! lol!) sounds like we get everything except the 4 digital CE bonuses, which makes no sense. On their explanation page it says ...
http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com...96bf81c212957d
Doesn't that seem to say we get them? Because it says "without needing to purchase the upgrade." Further goes on to say "characters already created will receive the items..." Is there something I'm not understanding here?Quote:
Collector's Edition Digital Upgrade Service
The Collector's Edition digital upgrade offers customers the ability to upgrade their standard FFXIV account to Collector's Edition status via the “FFXIV Service Center” website that is scheduled to be opened at the launch of official service, which then grants the in-game bonus items included with the Collector's Edition. Customers in possession of the Collector's Edition for either version 1.0 or A Realm Reborn will receive these Collector's Edition items without needing to purchase the upgrade.]
* Characters that have already been created will be able to receive the items.
I could CANCEL my pre-order and instead pre-order the PS3 CE, but I don't really WANT that (I did want physical copy for PC), but now I'm not even sure I don't need a PS3 account thingie to activate everything anyway.
Ugh they need to get over here and clarify more. :(
If you had the CE of 1.0, you get the 4x ARR CE items automatically without doing anything. I don't get why you're confused. :O
I don't have the original CE - just standard (if you're talking to me.) ^^;
Well first I was gonna say "Surely all codes are applied through SE Account Management", but then I re-read the OP.
Looks like you have to do it through a PS3... Seems weird though, might be an oversight..? Of course, you could register a SEN/PSN ID for free and go round to a friend's with your PS3 CE and link it/apply codes there. It would mean that in the future you'd be able to play on Playstation (hey, we might be playing this game for 10+ years; you might get it on PS4 or PS5 lol).
I actually HAVE a PS3, but it's one of the big clunky originals, I haven't touched it in ages. It's backwards compatible and I've heard those wont' work with this game. It's not online and I've never made a PSN as far as I know. (or worse, maybe I have and won't have any idea how to get into it! lol)
If I knew my old PS3 would work with this game, I might have a go at it. Can't hurt to have a back-up system! :) This whole thing is still such a silly mess though, isn't it?! sheesh
Hello everyone!
We gathered more questions from the forums and are answering them as we go, so check the below to see if your burning query was included.
Those who qualify for early access will be able to download the client before the start of official service, allowing you to log in and play before release day.Quote:
If I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition online, but it said that the game would be delivered on August 27th, how am I going to get early access if the game is sent on release day?
The need to pay immediately depends on the retailer you purchase from, but you should receive the pre-order code before the game. Of course, you won't be able to play after the start of service if your account isn't fully registered.Quote:
What if I pre-order the game, and my payment option is COD (Cash On Delivery)? If my Collector's Edition is being delivered August 27th and the actual code is supposed to be sent early August, is it OK that the code is going to be delivered before I've actually paid for the game? Or will I not receive the code until my payment is confirmed.
An announcement will be made when the client is ready for distribution. A client download will also be prepared for early access, so we ask you use that client once it's ready.Quote:
I realize you have to have the client installed beforehand for early access, but I still don't know when I'm going to be able to get the client. I also haven't heard anything about if those who pre-order the package will get it delivered before early access starts.
Regarding code distribution, once everything's been confirmed we'll make a separate announcement. We ask that you wait until then for an answer.Quote:
So if I pre-order online but I'm paying by COD, when will I get the early access code?
We're working to get everything confirmed before making an announcement, but for those who receive their early access codes, we're considering adjusting the early access to include a short period after official service begins. This would help ensure users can play in the event their package is not delivered on time. This may not guarantee players will be able to play the entire time until their package is delivered, but we will do what we can to make the transition to release as smooth as possible.Quote:
For those who pre-order, is there any way we can get our full game registration codes early?
Think of open beta as a final extension of the beta test, and early access as a precursor to the official release. The game is in open beta (Phase 4) → early access → official service.Quote:
Assuming open beta comes first, is there really a point to early access if there's no wipe?
You're right that the open beta will come first, but if you don't have early access, there's going to be a period of time between the end of beta and the official release where you cannot play. Those looking to fill that period between the beta test and launch will be looking to get early access.
When you link your Square Enix account to the PS3, you're actually linking it to a Sony Entertainment Network account. As long as your friend logs in with a different Sony Entertainment Network account first, there should be no problem.Quote:
It looks like you can only have one Square Enix Account per PS3, but will it be able to use a different ID when logging in? For example, if I own the PC and PS3 version and a friend comes over to play (he also has an account). Would I be able to play on my PC while my friend logs in on my PS3? Or will only my ID work on the PS3 once the account is linked?
Both scenarios are possible:Quote:
Which of these are possible scenarios when registering copies of the game:
Square Enix Account
- FFXIV Service Account 1 (Windows) < the pre-existing account
- FFXIV Service Account 2 (PS3)
Square Enix Account
- FFXIV Service Account (Windows & PS3)
If they are, does that mean in the first case service account 1 is PC only and service account 2 is PS3 only? Also, in the latter case, would I be able to play on the PC and PS3 at the same time?
"in the first case service account 1 is PC only and service account 2 is PS3 only?"
This is correct.
"in the latter case, would I be able to play on the PC and PS3 at the same time?"
Unfortunately, you won't be able to log in with both at the same time.
You will receive the pre-order items, but the registration code for the Windows collector's edition cannot be used with a pre-existing Windows service account. To receive the in game items for the collector's edition, please use the digital upgrade.Quote:
What if I bought the old version of FFXIV, and I already have characters on my account, but I'm looking to get the in game pre-order and collector's edition items. If I pre-order the collector's edition, then register the pre-order and collector's edition codes to my existing account, will I be able to get all the in game items?
However, the PS3 version can be registered to an existing Windows account, which would allow you to receive the collector's edition items.
Square Enix accounts can hold up to 8 separate service accounts, so there's no need to create a separate one. As long as you create a separate service account, you should be fine with just one Square Enix account.Quote:
Let's say I purchase the original collector's edition and I'm also a Legacy player. If I buy the collector's edition and I want to start from scratch (totally separate from my old account), would I need to create a new Square Enix account?
Those items aren't tied to your Square Enix account, but more specifically, your service account for FFXIV. You will continue to receive those items so long as you make a character with the aforementioned service account.Quote:
Let's say I have all of the special pre-order and collector's edition items from the old version (Garlond Goggles, Hermes Shoes, Asuran Armguards, and Onion Helm) on my Square Enix account. If I start a new character on a new server, will I be able to keep all those items and also get the new pre-order and collector's edition items?
As long as you pre-order, the PS3 version can be linked to your pre-existing FFXIV account to play early on the PC version.Quote:
Let's say I bought the old game, and never received Legacy status. If I want to get early access on the PC, all I have to do is pre-order a copy of the new version right? If I buy the PS3 version instead, does that mean I have to play on PS3 during the early access period?
This will also allow you to play on either the PS3 or PC with the same service account. However, you won't be able to log in with both at the same time. As long as this isn't a problem, you should be fine purchasing the PS3 version.
If you buy the PS3 collector's edition, you'll be able to receive the collector's edition items granted you register the PS3 version to your legacy account. However, if you purchase the Windows collector's edition, it cannot be registered to your account, as your legacy account is considered a pre-existing Windows account.Quote:
Will I still get the collector's edition items with my legacy account on the PC, even if I buy the PS3 collector's edition?
Legacy status accounts are still treated the same as standard edition accounts in FFXIV:ARR, so If you have no interest in the physical items that come with the collector's edition, and have no intentions of playing on the PS3, using the digital upgrade will allow you to receive the collector's edition items with your current account.
A Square Enix account can hold up to 8 separate service accounts, but it should be noted that the pre-order bonuses can only be tied to a single service account, not to the entire Square Enix account.Quote:
If I pre-order the collector's edition and register a new service account, will I receive the pre-order bonuses and in game items on both my previous legacy account and a new account made with the collector's edition? Or will the bonuses only go to one account if I register the collector's edition code?
If you purchase the collector's edition and register a new service account, your legacy account will not receive the collector's edition bonuses.
Early access is a pre-order bonus for those purchasing FFXIV:ARR. Players who purchased the original collector's edition are also required to pre-order FFXIV:ARR.Quote:
Does having the old collector's edition mean I get early access? Or do I need to repurchase the game?
The only exception to this rule are those who meet the requirements for Legacy status.
All three scenarios are correct with this exception:Quote:
I currently possess a legacy account for the PC. Can you tell me if these hypothetical scenarios are correct?
a. I purchase the PS3 collector's edition, and register the product code and bonus item code to my current service account.
→ I receive all of the bonus in game items on my legacy account, and can play on the PC or PS3. I cannot play with two accounts, and only one FF14 service account shows up on my Square Enix account.
b. I purchase the PS3 collector's edition, but register both the product code and bonus item code to a separate service account.
→There is no change to the legacy account, and I can only log in from my PC. I can play on two separate accounts at the same time, one of them being PS3 only with my all my bonus items. My Square Enix account also shows two FFXIV service accounts.
c. I purchase the PS3 collector's edition, I register the product code to a separate account, but the bonus item code to my legacy account.
→My legacy account has the preorder bonus items, and I can only log in to it from my PC. I can also play on my PS3 account separately at the same time. My Square Enix account also shows two FFXIV service accounts.
The collector's edition bonus items are included in the product code, so any registration of the product code to a specific service account would include all the bonus items solely to that service account. Pre-order bonus item codes however are separate and can be registered to any service account.
FFXIV:ARR includes 30 free days of playtime with purchase for new accounts. However, even though players who own FFXIV Version 1.0 will receive FFXIV:ARR for free, this does not include the 30 free days of play.Quote:
When you purchase FFXIV:ARR do you get one month of free play?
There are currently no plans to make these items available outside of pre-ordering.Quote:
Will there be any way to get the Cait Sith doll and Mog Cap later?
I'm sorry, but there are no plans to allow users to trade in these items.Quote:
Is there any chance I can trade in the physical items from the old collector's edition for the new ones?
Mine too. They removed the backwards compatibility through a mandatory software upgrade (which you would have to do to play ARR). I haven't heard anything about those models not working with FFXIV though... I'd be interested to know where you heard that, before I scream very loudly.
Yes! :)
My PS3 spent a few years gathering dust too. I was trying to work out how to attach it to my network when the internet told me that it was apparently native wireless. It makes a poor media server in the bedroom atm, but it'll be much more comfortable for late-night -> unconsciousness crafting marathons in bed once ARR goes live. That'll teach the wife to ignore me...
Thank you, Hvinire!
Good to know I didn't give in any wrong info with my amateurish translations @.@ /phew
No idea where I've heard it, I think it was speculation on one of the forums due to the backwards compatibility thing. Maybe someone here knows something?
Maybe I'll dust the thing off. I have excellent wi-fi (though my computers are hardwired) so if it's automatically connective, that should work, and I'd get that mandatory software update. Wonder how I get into my PSN if I made one....
Since the PC CE won't work, I could just change my order to PS3 CE; that should cover my pre-order bonuses. Worst comes to worst, I can always get the stupid digital upgrade later if I can't do anything on the PS3. At least I won't have a COMPLETELY useless PC CE. The PS3 one has ... potential. o.O
Mjoll~
PS: My PS3 is 80gig one. Yours? Trying to dig out the box now and see if I can find out model# lol
I know it isn't your fault Hvinire, but seriously, does a fucking monkey decide this stuff for you guys? It just baffles me how SE can just continue to try to ream it's fans at every turn. Not everyone wants to have to buy a PS3 CE just to link it to their fucking windows account, it's just horrible planning to make it work this way. Fire that monkey and at least hire one with a tuxedo and a basic understanding of empathy for your customers so we don't get hosed every time please.
Wait wait wait. Does this means that 1.0 owner will have to start paying the monthly fee immediately?
This is a *large* 180 from what was announced previously (for instance here), that clearly stated that there'd be a free trial for PC users before they'd have to pay the monthly fee.
Care to clarify?
I'm seriously pissed right now, I knew it was weird that this specific scenario wasn't addressed before but damn it it's so stupid. I would gladly give up any codes from the PC CE of ARR to get the digital items on my existing legacy account but oh noes SE has to mess up SOMETHING.
Great, so if I don't have a PS3 but want the physical items + digital ones from the CE I have to pay $100. Can't be SE without making a big mistake.
Can Square Enix actually have a look on this matter? It's somewhat pretty important as to which version to buy...I Hav ethe stantard 1.0 and though of getting arr on ps3 ARR CE, but won't do that if my ps3 doesn't work with it, and please enlight me ASAP on this matter because I want to pre-order and make a move to get the goodies for pre-ordering, the limited ones I speak of...
I am sorry but I do not understand your complaint. I am going to assume that you did not purchase the CE for ver 1.0. If that is the case then purchase the digital upgrade as Hvinire recommends and receive digital items for your existing account. Then pre order the standard PS3 edition and link it to your current account if you do not want the physical items. The digital items will be available on either the PC or PS3. If you are looking for the physical items then do what I did. Order the PS3 CE and link it to your current account. In this case you will get the PC version for free, provided you have a ver 1.0 game registered, and only pay for the PS3. Again the digital Items will be available for both versions. You were going to have to buy the PS3 version anyways like all of us. How you do it depends on how much you want and how much you are willing to pay. In either case SE is not trying to rip us off. The pricing for the digital upgrade for the PC is just the difference between the cost of the old standard version and the CE. SE did not have to offer it to us.
Because someone who has a 1.0 (normal) account but doesn't have a PS3 will have to make a double purchase (CE + digital upgrade) compared to 1.0 CE or PS3 users. I'm sure most of us would be glad to trade-in all of the codes that come with the new CE for the digital upgrade + pre-order bonuses.
Did not say SE is ripping us off. I said they are making us jump through unnecessary hurdles for something that is very simple. Some people, myself included, have no interest whatsoever in buying a PS3 copy of the game just to get bonuses, but I was willing to buy the PC CE.
Yes I can just get the digital upgrade, and yes I can just pre-order the PC edition for pre-order bonuses (unless they somehow screw that up for already existing accounts not being able to tie pre-order bonuses too), and yes I could just buy a PS3 CE and get them all. Or they could have simplified it, let me (and countless others who don't keep up with the news and are going to buy PC CE and then throw a shitstorm of rage SE's way when the game launches cause they can't connect it to their account for the items) just use the PC CE edition registration code to activate the digital "upgrade" for said accounts somehow.
It's not about the price, it's not about the items, it's just wondering why SE has decided on a completely pointless hurdle jumping run for customers it should just be happy to get at this point. They really should be doing everything they can to ease and simplify things on the customer support side, not make it worse.
And as for having to buy the PS3 version like all of us part, no, I will not. It is not a requirement to own a PS3 version of this game to play it, and I have already found my loophole into how I will sort this all out on my side. Though I won't be publicly displaying said method so as not to somehow screw myself, I will get my PC CE Edition and I will get everything without the need to ever touch a PS3 or having to lose an extra $20. The point was, it's just a plain stupid decision on SE's part. I was already going to re-buy a game I already own just to help support them, I could have just done without the unnecessary extra steps. When it comes down to it, smart businesses make things easier for their customers as much as possible because the average person isn't quite as intelligent as they think they are (myself included I am sure.)
So I just want to confirm something with the recent clarification. I currently own a PC FFXIV account, and my GF owns one as well. There is no overlap between our accounts, they're each tied to their own SE account.
If I'd like to buy ARR for the PS3 and make it so that either of us can play while the other games on PC, I realize we will each need individual local Playstation 3 accounts (on the machine), as well as individual Playstation Network IDs tied to those accounts. The question is, in this scenario will I need one PS3 copy of ARR or two? I previously assumed two, and preordered such, but:
It looks like you can only have one Square Enix Account per PS3, but will it be able to use a different ID when logging in? For example, if I own the PC and PS3 version and a friend comes over to play (he also has an account). Would I be able to play on my PC while my friend logs in on my PS3? Or will only my ID work on the PS3 once the account is linked?
When you link your Square Enix account to the PS3, you're actually linking it to a Sony Entertainment Network account. As long as your friend logs in with a different Sony Entertainment Network account first, there should be no problem.
makes me not sure.
I see. What you are concerned about is missing out on the on the Moogle hat and the pet plus early access. All the other digital items are included with the digital upgrade. As I am sure uou are aware you were never going to get the physical items without ordering the new CE. The early access is a big thing, for 7 days, between Open Beta and the official launch. That is a decision SE made unaware of how vital those 7 days are. I am sure that they are not trying to rip us off though.
DGSoil I apologize if I misunderstood your problem. As I see it now you purchased the standard edition for ver 1.0. What you wanted to do is be able to get the physical items as well as the digital items for your current account for the PC only. Do I understand it properly now?
Sort of, I am going to get them, it wasn't an issue of getting them though. It's the issue of why SE has to make the process so complicated. It seems like instead of giving us all these extra steps, for example, maybe the PC CE Code could automatically activate the same upgrade to CE on your account for the items, without having to pay the extra money.
Basically I think they should re-examine the whole process behind it and decide if it is a good move or not to basically say anyone who bought 1.0 on PC should avoid spending money on the PC CE because you can't use those codes. I guarantee you, someone isn't going to have read that you can't upgrade your account with that code and then bitch at SE customer support day 1.
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa what. So if I pre-order the PC version, I -cannot- use the pre-order bonus codes for in-game items on my EXISITING Legacy account? Therefore, I either
A) Start over from scratch and lose my character, whom I leveled tediously during 1.0 just to have in-game bonus items...
B) Buy the PS3 version of the game, which is placed at a higher retail price, and register THAT onto my Square-Enix account, then MAINTAIN the monthly fee on it in order to keep said bonuses (meaning I pay for both my PC account and my PS3 account that I would not even be playing on...)
c) Buy BOTH a Collector's Edition and a Digital Upgrade just because I obviously love throwing money around.
OR
D) Screw this, I'll just curse out anyone I see with the vanity in-game items because I was unable to obtain them for my original character despite buying the collector's edition.
Unless I'm mistaken on some part. In which case, I apologize. But if I'm understanding this correctly, the only way to get the bonus items from the Collector's Edition AND In-game items for my CURRENT character, I have to go with option C.
