TP goes down as he uses weaponskills
TP does not regenerate over time, for the 20 or so seconds that he does not have full TP.
TP does regenerate when he uses Jump. That is the only time during that fight that it goes back up.
It's a short battle but it appears that things are pretty much exactly the same as they are now, except you start with full TP.
Don't you spam buttons in all games?
I really do think the rokien hate is a bit much.
I mean, need i point out rokien didn't make a thread about grass?
So his +/- ratio has to take into account the lack of those threads.
Also, his threads are generally contained.
You don't see three or four of them on the front page daily.

I think he is referring to the mid system, not the old system. The old one was scrapped nearly immediately. The last one stayed for awhile and I too wish they just fixed it up.. but its not that bad AA is nice at times how it is now in the current system. Either way they were both enjoyable in different ways imo.

If its good guess we can all pitch in a penny and get Rokien a wow sub.
Some of the observations others have made about how it seems the new system is gonna work does make me want to see this puppy in action even more though =D (WS consume tp that starts out full, while auto attacks replenish said tp) this kinda design is really doing nothing more than taking away the boring 20 seconds or so at the start of any given fight and giving tanks a decent shot at aoe hate without having to spend those same boring 20 seconds.

From seeing the gameplay videos it looks like there is a 2 sec GCD similar to WoW and that TP regen is plentiful so you are able to push more buttons as your abilities come off GDC.
I don't know about you but that's basically what I do in every computer game..?
I actually prefer spamming buttons over looking like a retard with a plastic lightsaber in my hand playing dance dance revolution to beat Darth Vader on PS3 move?^^
On a serious note - that's actually something I was worried about too when I heard about the new action system. At least if we only get TP regen and no TP from attacks..which is something we don't know yet.

It's not at all the same thing dude...if your argument is because we start full and gain it back thru battle then you should say the same thing about our current battle system...while you don't start with max TP you still gain it back. It literally will be jus like our system now by gaining to per hit but you just start off full to get to the next figh with less down time...
ok so if mobs die in 20 sec due to WS spams do u know how much will we regain TP? like 300tp/3secs? cuz its gonna be like that trust me mate there wont be ws spams all over the mob + imagine it as "Doom Spike costs 2k tp in 2.0" for example and the rate to regain 2k tp again is like 30sec-45secs.
remember XI TP moves system for example sure we had to hit to get tp we could use Meditate or Absorb TP and u can even start a battle with 300tp -hence that even when the WS had 0 cool down mobs took long to kill-
In the end, we will always be pressing keys on a keyboard. Until the day comes when we can play games with our minds, this won't change.

Invigorate ftw? I don't have to wait 10 seconds to do anything, just saying. And you won't be spamming WS's in any content that is remotely challenging regardless (normal mobs, probably you will).
My point was it is still the same thing wether you can spam skills at the start or not...either way your TP will regen per hit (more than likely) and eventually you will bee down to around 0 TP and then you will have that rebuilding period..soooo...it will be basically the same.
And who the hell cares, suck it up and enjoy...it's gonna be epic!
They should make it like ffxi where you gain tp from one battle and make the next one a short fight. A good mix of long and short fights is nice with strategy. Not 6 weaponskills in 20 seconds every fight.
