Cool. We haven't been respected for expansions. When they actually bother to respect us as players, and stop half-assing everything, then they'll earn my respect. They're lucky to still be earning my money.

New story MSQ.

I don't want them to apologise for the MSQ or grovel or any silly rubbish like that but I REALLY need a solid heads-up as to how the story will be developed and managed by a proper writing and editing system/team going forward. How they will ensure 7.0 never happens again.

Current expansion MSQ skip potion. With all new MSQ without Wuk Lamat anywhere in it.

At this point, even if they were to acknowledge any discontent, I wouldn't believe a word out of Yoshi's mouth. He can say, "Please look forward to it" as much as he wants but it may as well just be, "Please stop asking." I'm really tired of their non-committal responses to valid criticism. Asking people to be patient only means something if the previous requests for patience actually paid off. By the way, it's been 5 years since viera and hroth released. We still don't have promised special unique hairstyles to make up for lack of hats, and they are releasing and designing entirely new gear sets that still aren't wearable by at least 1/3 of their playable races. I also still cannot use hair and gear that I purchased with money off of the Mogstation and Hroth still have to pay for fantasia if they want a different unique hairstyle because it's still tied to their faces.

Pretty much. Too many lies, met with "But spaghetti code!" after they fail to do what they told us. It was old expansions ago, now it's ancient enough that it's turned into dust.

The "skip don't skip" dillemma is a problem they created when deciding not to actually start the next expansion without dragging all the Scions along.

It was always going to be a problem. Most people would not reccomend new players skip Shadowbringers and Endwalker and the whole first arc to play Dawntrail. Basically just creating a whole new game without the characters people are attached to would just alienate older players and very few new players would take advantage of it. (New players who will probably be told to play Shadowbringers and then eventually get to Dawntrail and also find all the people they like are gone now!) In my opinion, it's an idea a lot of players throw around that I think just doesn't work in reality.

This is in reference to pretty vile takes on real, actual people. Not what happened in the MSQ of a fiction game.

Honestly I'd love to have them address the fem Hrothgar issues (weird arm sizing with certain clothing) and just like...Hrothgar issues in general (limited hairstyles, limited colors) but I know they wont. *sigh*

Instead of a skip they should make an optional streamlined mode for the first story that cuts out all the fat (ie talk to npc 1+2+3, go here there etc). I imagine a lot of people actually do want to do the story but there's just SO MUCH filler to get through that it becomes grating and DT did not help with that.

Personally I'd like them to go over what we can expect in the future for job changes, as we barely got any this time around and from what I've read, a good amount of people expect the whole "eh, dragoon good enough" rework for 8.0. This would likely cover things like the 2min meta, homogenization, tank+healer issues etc. Kind of feels like we'll end up finding out about all of this two weeks before the next expansion launch and I don't think that's good enough for how ticked people are now.

Maybe it's selfish of me, but as a player of two characters who's faces were somewhat to extremely butchered by the graphics "update," actual solid evidence that they've seen ANY of the hundreds of pages of feedback about our character models looking off and fixing it. BEGGING them to undo the Great Lip Flattening of 2024. I haven't even played as my Au Ra since DT came out because she is unrecognizable to me. It makes me so sad to look at her anymore, I just can't do it.

At this point just contact modders and have them make the extra hairstyles, they churn out so much better quality stuff than the default stuff in-game now. I've noticed many broken hairstyles the few times I did login where it's really black or just weirdly colored if you look from behind.

When modders fix your broken stuff you know you've entered Bethesda levels of jankiness.

And I know "mods bad" etc, but there is a point to where broken stuff needs fixing and if they aren't willing to address it, someone else will AND do a better job at it.

Also I wish they'd fix the damn blurry and DLSS/FSR crap that's in the game and broken. I can't even play the game because I get massive headache from the change when movement happens.

I'd like to see an explanation for why the game seems to have fallen into disarray between the msq and job design (which makes no sense given their alleged 8.0 ambitions). I'd like to know what we were supposed to take from DT other than feeling completely scammed on the idea we were going on a vacation. How did we end up where we are after players and critics all lavished this team with all time highs of praise and money (in EW)?

And I mean it quite seriously like how do you let something like DT happen when you had everything at your fingertips, including one of the highest rated FFs of all time and highest regarded stories with a critically acclaimed meme status? Somebody on this team is too nice to say "this isn't good" (maybe more than one) and that is something they need to get over.

I think they need to explain why it's so bad.

I hate to be surprised in job designed aspect

We need to be involved in job design and give feedback on changes

I hate and I really hate that if jobs turns on to be mediocre in 8.0 we have to wait not 2.5 years but 5 years which will kill the game IMO

You are not getting an apology for anything, and basically because the game is not build for individuals but the crowd instead, the fora reflect very little, so does reddit and so on and so forth.

People don't understand that you can't fix the past nor can you forge the future either.

i agree in the most points of your post but not about the wow topic. in my point of view the games arent that diffrent, at least in the last time. Both do story into raids into gear for next raid bla bla bla. The point where WoW superior to 14 is QoL. Alt friendly dont get me started with thte " you dont need an alt " talk we all know that many like playing alts, diffrent events using the maps event maps and and and. besides i can write into the chat without getting banned which in 14 is not the case. i was live talking in dc to somebody who litterally reported someone for his greeting. well after the tos change stuff like that is possible. In point of Drama 14 community is on champions level tbh every month another story. but to stay at the topic the things which attach people for this game will not hold everyone for ever, if theres no change there will not be customer anymore. so to answer the previous poster with the question why we are playing and not fck off, theres a simple answer. People who complain CARE for this game and dont hate it.

All I want is an acknowledgement that Healers are going to be improved in the coming patches. Even next expansion.
I'd be happy enough to end my part in the strike if they just say that they're listening and will do something to improve healer gameplay. I think that would be enough for most of us actually.

Just an acknowledgement of the players frustrations would do me.

Them swearing that they'll never, ever, ever again send our WoL into any kind of "vacation adventure".

Why should we let people say things they shouldn't be saying. If they can't say it in public without consequences.

You can personally ignore it in your now Realizdd Mute Filter, and Blacklist the player.

Or you can be like the rest of us, and actually report BS.
