[SUGGESTION] Character creation needs an overhaul/rework/more options

I will use the opportunity in this revived 2 year old thread to advocate for the chest slider on Lala's to actually do something. Whether it be more chiselled abs for male or more endowed females.
That is all.

Strangely, the customization options probably need an infrastructure ovehaul before they could consider adding more choices.

Don't you all find odd that to give midlander males a stubble, they had not only to copy+paste face 5, but make the beard built in as a permanent texture? It almost feels as if the customization 'slots' that are not hairstyles and face paints have a technical number limitation. This means (speculation) as it is right now, they can only add something new if they remove something old.

We have things that can't really be explained by logic, like why some customizaton options are permanent features for some faces but not others? (e.g. Miqo'te male eye tattoos between faces #1 and #4).

Cost to much money, maybe when 11.0 releases.

They revealed they can't "AFFORD" to make a normal mode for their content. So you can kiss your other stuff goodbye too, including more character customization.

But don't let that stop the diehard defenders from saying its taking so long because "They are obsessed with quality" or some other absolutely DERANGED takes. They admitted they are incompetent, its over and its best we get used to SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW development and await whatever remakes they are ACTUALLY putting effort into.

detach character customization from gender, make form of address choosable, add sliders on literally everything pso2 style

Nah, for FFXXI, you'll have a legacy setting to bank on the nostalgia of old FF14 players.

One small thing that I feel would go a long way would be letting Hyur have Elezen ears. That's literally all it would take for "half-Elezen", which is something people have been asking for since Heavensward.

That'd be cool, but get ready for 12 Hildas in 2B leggings doing the synchronized bees knees in Limsa.

I agree with almost everything, what I would also add to it is:

General:
1. More face mark option, so you can have Freckles and Blush together.
2. More body type selection or something like that. Like: Slim, Normal, Chubby , Buff. But they can add sliders instead aswell.
3. Bring some option from 1 clan to another together. Miqote with the fang/eye options, I dont want to give up my fangs to be a little tanner because I love that aswell, Or helion round eyes to lost or helion face markings to lost.

Hrothgar (because I play them haha):
1. Make males a toggle to make them hunch or straight
2. All face locked hair available to every face
3. Black/White fang options, So my face 1 can have black teeth or face 3 to have white teeth, Or whiskers to every face
4. More skin colors, I want to make my IRL cat and they are orange
5. Seperate hair highlight with fur pattern color

(my fantasy here under, but this is not gonna happen probably)
I know this might take a lot of work but what if they have a option menu: No preset faces!
Eyes: Like face 1 eyes
Nose: Face 3 nose
Mouth: Face 2 mouth/teeth
Chin: Face 4 chin
Optional features: All of the faces combined

You can make a really unique face from there. And they can add a eye or nose maybe every expansion or something like that. But that might be far far off >< It would be cool tho

I would love options for body scars or tattoos but I'm not sure if that's possible with the way the game handles gear by swapping entire body parts.

The lack of butt-slider in this topic is insulting
