PvP Ranked System needs addressing.

I don't have a problem with roar. Its their defensive CD, something that pretty much every job has in some form or the other. The AoE stun is pretty damn stupid though. Primal Rend definitely needs to be on a longer CD or it needs to lose its aoe effect.

My issue with the roar is the AMOUNT of mitigation it gives. 50% is far too much for a melee (it'd make more sense for a tank). Shave it down to 10-20%, and it'd be fine.

Ranked is pointless since you can't form teams, and ultimately the way they handle your rank is hot garbage given the RNG.

Chiten is also 50% though. The others are lower because they have healing tied to them.

If I can climb by only playing GNB, arguably the worst job at the moment, y'all can climb on anything.

Serious note. If there isn't a shot caller on your team, try shot calling. I guarantee you will have a higher success rate if you learn how to herd the sheep to a win.

Well all I'll say is I have not moved from Bronze to Silver 3 out of my 50 victories and 3 days straight of none stop pvp matches.

Also, Quick Chat needs more better Communication options like "Spread out!" "Split up!" Before getting totaled by an aoe lb you can see coming

GNB is not the worst job, you're a tank. Bard is the worst job always has been

It's class choice too. On reaper I basically never have broken silver due to the fact other jobs just have better kits. Stuns are just way stronger in pvp than the "heavy" debuff.

The different ranks give you rank specific portrait material. You don't need to be top whatever, you just need to attain the rank and after the season is over, you got to the NPC and collect the material for all ranks you made it through.

just sucks when legit players get done over by cheaters and win traders to keep their "top 100" also unlimited range hacks as well...

My complain in CC is the match making. Jesus Christ, i don't want to face a 3 Healer 2 DPS or 3 Tanks and 2 DPS comps. CC is like quick match in Overwatch you know, push the payload or defend the payload you win ez. But it ain't fun if you match up with unbalanced comps. I think the prize for being Top 100 and top 1 is meh but just like i said its quickmatch, if i want cooler gear or mount i'll go Q up for the Feast when it returns.

For a "competitive" mode, the quick chat is pretty shit. Would prefer a ping system that would allow information to be conveyed more accurately. Also the 30 second wait time at the start of matches is completely pointless. Can't discuss anything ahead of time so why have it there? So people can take a piss?

Been fighting to get out of bronze and had a streak of losses, because my teams were god awful ppl were running after the enemy when they should’ve played the crystal, getting recked went from bronze 1 three star to bronze 3 1star. It like there aren’t even trying they get steamrolled rez and running right back to get killed again. Beyond frustrating

I get what you mean. For the last two days I think I've won one match, every time I get teammates who seem to think "Fall back and regroup" is some kind of anathema and that the only way to contribute is to rush into a 5v1 and get slaughtered the moment they rez.

Not to put you off but thats still happening in Plat. Because if you get lucky good teams you can shoot up ranks, so you can be high rank but running around with bronze game sense.

Yeah, it's basically random if you win or lose because of this (as far as I can tell stuck in bronze at least). So if a bad player can rank up to plat because they got lucky, and a good player can be stuck in bronze because they get unlucky and get suicidal teams... what's the point of the ranks?

No way, I think people in Top 100 definitely deserve rewards for being committed to getting there. Top 100 rewards aren’t even that good this season so I don’t know why you’re complaining. I disagree with how some people think they deserve rewards just for participation. Those people all have this “I don’t need to work for it mentality.” People that played OW, MOBAs and Starcraft all know the struggle of climbing ranks and when you finally get up there, your endorphins kick in cause you know you did a good job, even with terrible teammates sometimes.

If there were no rewards for top 100, why would anyone even bother climbing ranks? In that case, people would just play casual cause there is little point otherwise. What? For bragging rights? The rewards right now do the same thing, they let you put your rank in your portrait lmao. You get the “same” reward if you were in bronze or gold, etc.

After checking people's comments, TBH, I agree with most of the parts. It's true that the jobs, ranking, and matching system need to be improved. Besides we don't talk about cheating, I found most CC games are fair and challenging. Some streamers say ranking rewards should be better, with which I totally disagree. Currently, the ranking rewards are just plates, which are totally respectful to your rank. Showing the plate people know you work hard, love CC, and play a lot. However, better rewards should NOT be based on ranking or time spent on it. Not everyone can play 12 hours a day. It needs to be balanced between hardcore and casual.

Also, if you are at bronze/silver/gold ranks, don't need to feel a downside. There are a lot of bronze/silver games that are way better than those crystal or diamond matches. You might see a lot of streamers are Diamond or Crystal, that is mainly because chat people are trying to play with the streamer. Therefore, chat people know how to follow streamers' style and help them rank up faster. Those streamers might not play better than you in a CC match.

With current issues in the place, we should just enjoy the CC matches. Forget those ranks. If you just want top rank, the better options might be queuing with your friends or those top streamers with the same team, or you stream yourself telling chat people how you play and they can join you accordingly.
