So did they just fix the BLM burn on Garuda or have they made any adjustments to any of the fight itself.
I don't know about you, but I've been extremely satisfied with 1.21 and 1.22. I'm willing to grant them a little leeway in terms of job weapons not being added.
Whenever I'm feeling impatient I just remind myself of the magnitude of changes they're working on. I'm not sure how their staff is divided, but I really get the feeling like ~75% of the people are working on 2.0 specific things. That doesn't leave a ton of people to work on the pre-2.0 items. And as some people have mentioned, we're just coming off of Golden Week. Everyone deserves a break. :)
First of all. I was not complaining. Secondly a "High Chance" means exactly that. When I see that then I can reasonably expect to see it baring unforeseen delays. The point of my post was the fact that they did not inform us of the delay, even in the Patch Notes. As I read the Letter I got the impression that they were going to try for the weapons in Ver1.22 but probably would not make it til Ver 1.22a. Different people read things different ways.
It has Titan though, so it might just be related to the dominant beastmen tribe near each city-state. Perhaps a Grand Company missions will be introduced in which you are asked to create an allegiance with the beastmen and you gain said seal to be protected by their wraith.
I kinda wonder how Hamlet is gonna be, seeing as it's 50/25 hopefully it's setup in a way where Hamlet is always active in each area since the time frames are set perfectly to do it that way. The only issue with that though is the rewards are stretched out in a 4 tool, 2 militia gear, 1 militia accesory and 1 hamlet headpiece system for 8 potential rewards in each area(ignoring the crappy fireworks and dark matter). It be nice if they added some sort of currency to allow people the chance to purchase the rare/ex stuff in that event XD. Even if they do stagger, people will only want to do a specific Hamlet since it has a reward they may want.
I predict record low turnout at Garuda tonight.
Is it just me or does it seem like they got the new recipe list mixed up.
You guys are way too excited about AF weapons. They're probably going to be crap compared to materia gear anyway. You'll most likely only end up wearing them in town.
I for one am happy with the patch. Specifically:
Hopefully they're back to their regular effects!Quote:
[dev1418] The activation and cancellation sound effects for the following actions have been changed:
Swiftsong / Minuet of Rigor / Ballad of Magi / Paeon of War
Ya, I mean honestly I can bet gil that from now on, a majority of the fish will only be going to LL hamlet, the ore will only go to Ulda hamlet and the branches will only go to Gridi hamlet because those are the only areas in which you can obtain the Hamlet hat, which is just dumb lol.
First off I'm going to assume you mean 1.21 and 1.22 ;)
I was extremely happy with 1.21. 1.22 was alright, merchantile houses and another primal are nice to have. Was just really looking forward to having a weapon I could maybe work on getting as opposed to just fighting drop rates on primals (Still want my mog axe, getting doubles of weapons you didnt want in the first place is discouraging) so it's a bit of a bummer. Hopefully 1.22b isn't too far off, pld fix (and now job weapons) can't come soon enough.
Even then, 1.15b easily takes the cake for smallest patch notes. Could be worse. The amount of bitching in this thread is astounding. At least it wasn't TWO exp nerfs lol.
Well at least there are some new recipes so I can finish off my black smith finally, oh wait, high difficultly...oh well, at least there's some awesome new gear for my bard, oh wait, class only...well since reaching phase 2 in the only hamlet we have was such a breeze it's prob a good idea to add 2 more, oh what, we didn't reach phase 2 .......
Learn up the meaning of "keep you in the loop." They also said they'd keep us in the loop if it didn't look like this content was going to be ready in time for 1.22a. Silence would therefore signify that things are fine and dandy. A promise to keep us informed was not kept and the community was allowed to be lead on. There is no other way to spin it.
Patch is up, just to let eveyone know ^
Yeah, new content!
Oh, hamlet defense. Whatever.
Hmm, so 1.22 is suppose to entertain me till July? Okay.

The following hamlet defense items have been renamed to alleviate confusion:
Indigo Herring / Young Indigo Herring
Kidney Ore / Light Kidney Ore
Spruce Branch / Supple Spruce Branch
Gungnir reached it the first time but the fact that the supplies reset to 0 after every battle most likely turned a lot of people off to Hamlet including myself XD. With how short the battles are and how long the battle phase is, it just isn't worth the time to prep for a lv 2 if you end up losing everything once the fight ends. So pretty much you have to prepare before you actually do the event. You have to know how much time their is before the event and if there are people who are around to do it.
For Gridi Hamlet the supplies may get popular during the next supply phase because the fight should happen on a Saturday, but it's pretty much guaranteed the Hamlet will happen on a weekend allowing more people to get the most out of it. But when you have a Hamlet during the weekday, no one wants to spend time gathering/supplying if they can't get much use out of the event itself. Since only the Top 20 get something special out of it, if the most you have to supply is 200k-250k to make it to the top 20, those who can only obtain 100-190k worth of supplies won't bother supplying so you now reduce the amount of potential supplies by tenfold since those who can't gather/synth as much won't even bother supplying just to not make the Top 20.
Meh hamlets. I'll care once we have engines that make mass pve content feasible.

My only comment after reviewing the announcement is that I am going to have an even harder time trying to keep the good stuff and sell off the worthless. There are a ton of new raw supplies and nowhere to store them!
We need six retainers!!! LOL
I cant Believe, It´s not a patch ---> 1.22a ( No AF weapons, No changes to PALADIN)

I'm still looking for this quote that he said he would tell us how the weps are progressing cause in the last letter he states that the other 2 hamlets will be in 1.22a and that was it.
Pretty sure that right there says what was coming 1.22a but I might be reading it wrong.Quote:
In order to deliver the patch to you in time for Golden Week, I’m afraid we’ve had to postpone a number of things. These include job-exclusive weapons, chat log reforms, and other content I touched on last time. With regards to hamlet defense, only Hyrstmill will be ready for 1.22; the remaining two hamlets will go live in 1.22a, which is scheduled for May 10. We also have plans for a patch 1.22b, which is expected to follow shortly thereafter. You can rest assured that we will maintain our pace even after 1.22 is released!
sad, really wanted AF weapons and the imperial stronghold
Shortly thereafter, eh?
You mean, as in, tomorrow?
