*Looks at New World breaking to the point people speculated their MMO was client side authorative. Looks at invincibility bug where people play in Window mode and freeze their character and make them invulnerable by just moving around the window, completely destroying world PvP*
Sure
1. I wouldnt say most, I would say some. a forum population is only a very small portion of the player base at the best of times, so is not indicative of much.
2. much of the active player base is in the game, hence the queues to begin with... the worlds are FULL
3. every, and I mean EVERY game has a cult, usually two cults. the first loves the game and everything about it, and are rabid defenders despite flaws. the other cult, its always a wonder why they pay for a game they dislike so much. they are rabid detractors, and no matter what the game does, someone else does it better faster and in a more innovative way.
4. yes, its hateful how they put in maintenance and try and fix things and have the audacity to communicate. all we do is sit in queues and get errors on occasion and eventually most get into the game. they are just partying it up somewhere, trying to keep people happy, coming up with ideas to try and fix things, going through lines of code looking for something that might cause said errors... indeed.. unacceptable!
