Have you ever been kicked for not having "good enough" gear?

Yo, week 1 of the e5-8s tier I was in solo que and until I hit E7s there was always someone without materia in about a full quarter of my parties, usually the DPS...
We pugged to so many avoidable enrages : (

I've not been kicked for being undergear, tho once I did que (with someone, they actually qued before I was ready). I was lvling SAM and forgot to upgrade my weapon. (I know most important one xD)
Someone mentioned it towards the end of the dungeon and I said that I forgot to upgrade it before queing and they were like 'all good'.

And I can't recall being in a party that kicked anyone either.

Ya got some bad websites.

Red Mage is an expac class. Anything level 70 or lower, Red Mage does inordinately high amounts of damage. At level 80, you're still better than all of the PRange and Dragoon.

Um. I'm pretty sure Explorer mode is a special mode you have to que for specifically and not something you'll get from a roulette or from queuing normally.

With that said, kicking you for gear instead of just completing the dungeon probably took more time overall for the people who kicked you. I'm almost certain its because of all the relic weapon farming. Under normal circumstances, unless it was causing a real problem (like a dps check or some other mechanics fail) most people would just pull up their bootstraps and soldier on. Waiting on more people to join is usually more of a wait, especially on older content that not as many people are queing for.

The worst offender I've ever seen was a BLM on e8s in 500-510 gear, no materia and no buff food. Got one shot on every aoe without babysitter shields. Our side barely managed to get the adds down and only because we blew buffs we were supposed to hold for reopener. With 6 helpers with multiple clears it could've easily turned into a kill/ farm because it was practice from icelit onwards.
As expected, their lack of effort was not limited to gear ... they got booted after 2 or 3 pulls. Had I been lead, I would've instantly booted them. No excuse for that sort of thing.

Thankfully I don't run Savage so it's not an issue but I don't usually do a full meld until I'm in gear I'm going to be in for a while. When you have nearly all jobs at 80, the gear slog becomes tedious. -But I get this for Savage. I feel like they were looking for a carry.
