This is totally going down in XIV history. 5 years from now people will be saying, "Hey dude! Remember 'heck the bed'?"

So it went "Heck the bed" --> Should have been "Check the bed" --> Turns out it actually says to "Examine the bed" --> Turns out it does NOTHING!

Yep pretty much...Plus it all crashed the server and started emergency maintence. Would have finish mini garuda had my game not crashed right as I got to the cave...Was sitting around for like 10mins after the crash setting up another party

In the future. I suspect if this ever gets a meaning, it would be this:

To heck the bed: To make a mistake that appears obvious, but is infact more of a mistake than anticipated. For example, "I think that guy's name is Frad" when in fact it is James. After said mistake is made, one can reply with "dude, you just hecked the bed!"

Guess I'll go heck the bed while i wait for the servers to come back up.

i noticed that examining the bed doesnt do anything either. and now that i think about it with all this maintenance, is the timer on the garuda fight still going even though we cant play? kuz technically 1.22 is released, i hope thats not how its going

I will expect to find cookies when I heck my bed when I return after maintenance lol

Hecking the bed causes 5 hour maintenance.

NOBODY HECK THE BED

This goes back to the Mizzenmast Inn review thread ( http://bit.ly/IoeKO9 ) a room so sub par that now you're cursing the bed.

Sowwy. My bed was hecked. This action was less enjoyable then previously indicated... (by speculation and some funny as heck posts.)

it means examine the bed, why it says heck the bed I'm not sure.
