Depends on the game really, I buy a Final Fantasy game because its Final Fantasy, case in point, FFXIII-2 looks great graphically, but after FFXIII I didn't want to buy it because to me XIII sucked in the gameplay department.Quote:

Disgaea 3 looked like a PS2 game but I knew the gameplay would be awesome because of the other games in the franchise.
DS games don't have awesome graphics and people bought them by the millions.
I certainly didn't buy FFXIV because it looked great graphically or had fluid animation, I bought it because it was an online Final Fantasy.
Besides my comment was more aimed at animation lock, if its in 2.0 I'll be quitting without a second thought.
