To be perfectly clear, IDK about others here but I'm not you friend. I don't know how you normally talk, your personality or what view points on social matters you hold. If that's a joke I'd suggest using exaggeration and "/s" in the future when replying online.

I KNOW! Why do they always make half the faces look ridiculously bad?! I'm talking bad bad. Then on males there are those really old man faces, and they aren't just old man faces they are ugly old man faces. That's not just it though, the options aren't very good either, like half the eyes you can pick look like they are under the influence. Males don't even have good facial hair options, I'd say males actually have the worst of it. Elezen girls have like 2 total faces.

I hate the hyur ones. In the trailer the guy looks amazing... Then you see that BOT face, no facial hair... And the other options are just bad. Too girly, too old and too... Well, cant say it here, hahaha.

It took some time, but I found my happy medium with male Highlander. Sure I wish they could have eyebrows, but even without them I think they look pretty decent if done right.

EXACTLY! There is only like ONE MAYBE two half decent midlander faces, so you can't even make a unique guy. If you make him he looks like every bot in the game or Arbert or whatever. And the hairs for males DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED on the hairs for males, they almost all look awful on them. When they don't you look like an emo or a 17 year old. You can't look like a MAN as a human. Well you can, if you play highlander, then you can look like a caveman! Then you go to au ra males who aren't too bad, but they have MASSIVE clipping issues, plus personally, I think tails on males just look bad. The Miqo'te males for one no, I wouldn't even consider them, two their stance looks obnoxious, they look like a yu-gi-oh character giving a monologue or something.

I could get way more candid, but I'd have to be on Discord. Not worth it here!

What's weird is I saw more Roe dudes when Shadowbringers first came out. Like I would mistake them for hrothgar at a distance, nowadays, or last I played (still unsubbed) I see more hrothgar than I see roes. Really odd.

I'd feel comfy playing viera, IF THEY HAD MORE HAIRS. I'll still complain about it, and switch to them anyway. Then back to au ra, then back to miqo'te, then back to viera, then back to au ra, then back to miqo'te. I've been thinking about overlooking the midlander run animation and switch to that, but then I'll look super generic... This game needs more options! :mad:

Actually you have my fav miqote face. Its the only one that i find really... Feline.

Female midlander run animation is a bad joke. And auris looks clumsy... Almost goofy. Also the most used face looks so f... Souless, hahaha.

I think this face is a bit underused, that's why I chose it. Most miqo'te I see use like face 2(?) I think. With the right hair she can look completely different. It's kind of crazy how much a hairstyle can change the way your character looks.

Yeah, the run animation is ridiculous. It's way too much. I like female midlanders, because they don't really have any clipping issues, and most sets in the game look good on them (since they were designed on them), but god that run animation. I've been it once and switched over almost immedately, wasted 20 bucks. I even tried to be one on my alt, and switched to a miqo'te instead. Another reason viera is my favorite race overall, they don't have tail clipping, even if they can't use headgear. I just need more hairs to work with for my outfits. I with Yoshida would put some resources and time into releasing us some hairstyles sooner than later, but that seems to be not the case..

One thing I like about miqo'te is their hempen top, in my opinion it's the best hempen top for females in the game. You can make a ton of various outfits with the top. While when I am an au ra it turns into like a cutesy nighty, not for me - and very difficult to make outfits with.

Oh that's cause bad pay period. My sub was renewing on the 13th, and there usually isn't money in the bank account on the 13th, because bills and me wasting money on junk like mogstation items. So, I would have gotten hit by another $35 overdraft fee. $35 for a $15 dollar sub.. not worth it! I'll resub tomorrow. Whenever it's the 18th really. But no, I've been wanting to play, because this is like my chill game, I afk for about 8 hours tab back in every so often. Play with an outfit, change my hair 7 times before changing back to my original hair because it doesn't look good with that outfit. Then tab back out. Maybe I'll make a new butt armor set tomorrow to celebrate the grave importance of this topic!

Plus the christmas event is tomorrow, where I can dump more furniture I can't use on one of my retainers, because I also don't have an apartment.

If no one (literally no one) can understand where you're going with it then it wasn't a good joke or satire.

If only a portion of likes is the indicator that's pretty big hyperbole. Just saying.

Just because a portion of people who responded didn't get it, that certainly doesn't mean no one got it. But then again I already know human nature can't admit to being slow on figuring it out and want to look for some angle in feeling justified about the situation.

"It's satire" isn't a very good defense. Either it was satire but wasn't written well and confused people/they thought you were serious, in which case it's poorly done satire, or it's just being used as a blanket defense to try and defend something dumb said.

Oh my God! I looked up the Forrest Gump scene "Run Forrest, Run!" and it literally looks just like the midlander animation. I don't think I will ever see anything different when I see a midlander run. I tried making a midlander, made a new character to check it out, and yeah that is all I saw.. That run is just so... bad... If I switch I'm just going to go my usual au ra. Well, when I switch, I never don't switch... but I might not switch for a little while yet. I can't use hairs on viera, and my au ra suffers from skinny face and pointy chin, so most hairs look awful on her too.

They should add options for new animations too!

I like the female midlander running animation since it make them look dainty. I suppose it all comes down to personal preference. Not to mention how they look when riding on a horse mount.
