things are working fine for me now, after 2hr's of this. i think everyone just quit and try tomorrow

Problem seems to be resolved on Lindblum too. I don't have any probs anymore.

Seams to be stable fornow, logged in and out to fix my Chat issue

Ok so are people actually doing better on Mysidia? I'm still having issues.

I log in, go attack a mob, and the animations only work for the first 2-4 swings. Then it(animations) completely stops and though I can still do battle, if I try to open a menu the game seems to struggle contacting the server. My character will then just sit there as if waiting for the menu to pop but nothing happens. If I force exit the game(the only way to exit at this point) I will need to also log out on my desktop and relog to start the FFXIV client again.

Edit: Now my game just crashes after pressing the play button. *sigh* I hope I don't have to re-install the game...

edit2: The best patch to date followed by the worst within a few hours. Now I have to re-install the game... I can't wait for this meteor to hit.

I was on mumble with my linkshell when this happened to us a few times last night.
"Place in log in queue:1"
Funny how three of us chatting on mumble were all 1st place in the login queue at the same time.

Crashed, now I can't log back... seems my caracter won't delog, I'm getting the error code 3102. Been 20 minutes now, mule logs np..

edit : worked again after 40 minutes

I didn't know people were having this problem. Someone sent me a tell a few minutes ago about forming an exp party. Then my game crashed. I'm pretty sure Yachiru Kusajishi of Mysidia is to blame lol jk

We apologize for the frequency of towns crashing on certain worlds. This isn’t the result of overcrowding; these crashes are due to memory bugs related to inns and other newly implemented things that we didn’t discover before we released them. We are currently focused on investigating this issue.

This wasn’t lag, but was a problem related to a lobby server queuing bug. (As it was having an issue determining one character from another, it affected the chat system.) In addition to the previously mentioned memory issues, we are also working full force on resolving this issue before the world merge takes place.

I am starting to get worried that even a merge or patch is not bringing back anyone new/old XD maybe after the merge, who knows.

I doubt the merge will bring people back who arent back already with the patch.

Was this issue resolved at all with today's hotfix patch? Because I am still getting repeatedly booted off the server and being put in the "queue" during peak JP hours.
