Wow. I haven't read any of these Viera height complaint threads - I have no desire to change their height; I think it's perfect, tbh. While I don't plan to Fantasia my main from Miqo'te, I love the Viera aesthetic and cannot wait to Fantasia my alt into one. I think they're fine being tall and gorgeous.

But seriously? This aside that taller women aren't beautiful or feminine? Smh. I understand personal preference, but opinions don't constitute facts. And people aren't "SJWs" because they find your opinion dumb. I'm far from being any sort of SJW and I find this opinion dumb. But perhaps that's also because I'm a tall woman IRL and have never had anyone mistake me for a man or as "not feminine".

A caveat is they also SPECIFICALLY mentioned they wont add child races, and we ALL know it's not because they don't want to show children in pain or agony. I don't really understand this recent Height phobia that's been going around recently. The Viera are supposed to be tall. We don't need another variation of Hyur with dragon scales/cat tails and ears. They are tall, gorgeous and elegant amazoness-looking women. Don't even get me started on the femininity tripe. Some of the most beautiful and feminine looking women are all well over 5'10. They are perfect just as they are, there isn't a need to change them.

I've waited a very long time for a race in this game that is both elegant and in model height range. After years of playing Miqo'te, Midlander, and Au Ri, simply because they have the best face options: let us have our glamazon bunnies, please.

Hmmm, I'm gonna have to say no here. We have Hyur, Miqo'te and Au'ra available for short and petite female characters. And Lalas for those who wanna go EXTRA short. The Viera offer another option for those who want to play tall, feminine characters. If you want a 'regular sized' Viera, go make a mid sized Hyur and slap bunny ears on them. Viera are supposed to be tall amazon warriors, not another """Feminine sized""" race. And I say this as someone who loves tall females but isn't planning on changing to a Viera. Love my Xaela too much. (Who I make kinda tall for a female Xaela.)

Wow. Just wow. This thread... Anyways, a shorter, thinner Viera seems like it would essentially be another race simply because there's a range before everything gets out of proportion and has to be resized/refitted and just like mViera/fHrothgar, all gear would have to be refitted for them as well. Otherwise, you'd wind up Guado Viera if you don't also shorten the torso and arms while shortening the legs.

This person literally just disagreed with your stance on "small feminine women" you'll be reporting quite a lot of people if that's what constitutes "flaming/harassment" to you. Especially given the fact that rather than having an epiphany when you were banned you seemingly came back with a new account just for the sake of immediately jumping back into exactly the same drama. On topic, as I said in the other thread I had actually hoped for this as well, though I can't say that I'm surprised by the fact that both Viera subraces are the same except for small details.

It would have simply been a lot more work than people seem to understand even making the slightest change to a race that's /already seemingly incomplete/ to widen the number of differences between veena and rava Viera

All of that said..
I'll still be making one, honestly the minimum height is smaller than my elezen who was one of my favorite characters.. and looked /really short/ compared to most everyone in the Heavensward storyline..

It's easy to feel small when a large part of the population is comprised of towering dragon men, tall elves, roes, and lion men

For females as far as tall girls you have
3 options, rough but awesome highlander girls
Fem roe girls
And elezen girls

Vs 4 small girl options
Midlanders
Au ra
Miqo'te
And lalafells

Some people want to be tall but not rough
So that marks off highlander and roe girls
(Mind you I'm not insulting either, both options can look pretty amazing)

And some don't want to be as tall as an elezen or a roe
Viera is literally the perfect blend of looking amazingly feminine while also being tall and fit, it's going to be epic playing one.

Goodness, what is this mess.... We already have 3 petite options available. 4 if you count lala. Play one of those if you want a tiny waifu. It's time to show some love to the taller ladies! Nice feminine features and proportionate head to body ratio to boot! (>.>)

And let's face it, minimum height Viera isn't exactly that tall.

What a mess.

Well, I'm pretty sure we have a clear vision of what the community really wants and we can let this thread die.

Someone in this thread is absolutely insufferable. Every time I think I've found the King or Queen of Obnoxiousness, someone else comes racing in to surpass them.

I like my tall rabbit girls and if we get the male Viera, I hope they're even taller rabbit boys. The taller they are, the more there is to love.

I like the viera height as it is right now, however, I'm always open to more options for people. I wouldn't be bothered if the min/max height range was expanded for any race. I also wouldn't mind if it doesn't get changed either, which I don't think it will.

I would literally be super happy with any additional customization options for older races. Please, anything; new hairs, let us double up face paints, a little extra height or add missing muscle sliders. Unfortunately everything before Au Ra is really beginning to show its age.

I think it's about time we get new facepaint. It's one of those customisation features available to every race so everyone can enjoy any new additions. SE said they likely won't add any more races. Well if they don't the least they can do is expand on the customisation options for the current races.

I'd like to see them separate out face paint stuff into two or more sections. It's really odd you can't have eye shadow and blush, or eye shadow and freckles, or a tattoo and freckles.

I use freckles with all my characters. Plus +100 on wanting freckles and literally any other face paint. ;;

I have to say I would be on board with new facepaints too. I don't care about the height, I think more details would be nice, like hairpins (small ones, not like the big ones we can get in game as glamour) for exemple.

Are you saying Miqo'te, Au Ra, or even Midlanders are "little girl characters"? I assume that is the case since you say "most popular", but that is a BIG reach. Au Ra are petite, but they look like petite women, they have the shape of an adult. If you are talking about Miqo'te or Midlander, they are very busty (relative to their size), and Miqo'te in particular have sizeable hips. They look like adults proportion wise, even if they can look young, they look like young adults, not to mention their height range is the size of an average sized woman, with the au ra being on the shorter side. I really hope you aren't implying what I think you are implying.

A viera is roughly 6' feet tall. Having them shorter wouldn't turn them into a child race. I personally like them at the height they are, but your's is a really reaching statement.

In FF12, Fran looked pretty tall so it wouldn’t bother me if the devs don’t want to make them shorter. In all fairness, it would definitely make them seem more feminine, even more than Midlanders.

I know that pain so well... Especially when you want freckles /and/ makeup at the same time. I am glad SE made eyeshadow built in for the Viera so I hope this means they'll extend that design choice to the older races if they ever go back and clean them up a little. Also am I the only one that wants them to sharpen some of the face paints? Depending on the race they can look REALLY pixelated. ):

While I agree that we don't need shorter Viera, short does not equate to young. I feel like you are conflating the two here. You can be an adult and be short. Just like you can be tall and beautiful and feminine.

To be fair, tall most certainly does not equate to beautiful. Some people are ugly and tall, some people are ugly and short. It’s all up to their genes. Viera’s “Genes” make them look very pretty. :)

I never said that tall 100% meant beautiful and feminine. I meant that you can be tall AND beautiful AND feminine. Just like you can be short AND an adult. These concepts are all mutually exclusive things, but the person I replied to seems to think short = child.
