Happened to notice your avatar and thought your glamor looked cool with that hair. I really like it :D
It's not often I see that hairstyle.

By registration key, you're talking about the CE key I already have right now? That's what I use on EA/launch? If so, that sounds about right, I think that's what happened last time with stormblood. If you're talking about a third registration key that I will get at EA/launch, then that's strange, but ok, I'll just have to see.
EDIT: Oh wait, I think there was a special site for stormblood that I enter a code and then it will return me another code that I then enter to the mog station. It's been too long for me to remember, oh well.
I usually never preorder games anymore, but for Final Fantasy XIV, and Square Enix games, I make an exception :D
Your confirmation email comes with a code and a link. You go to the site from the link, put in the code from the email and it will generate a code for the Mog Station. This will get you into EA.
If you got a digital edition, you will receive the code for the Expac around launch. If you ordered a physical edition you will get a code when it arrives. There will be a grace period for those who preordered and were in EA to receive their retail codes and enter them into the Mog Station.
The process for Steam may be a little different, I couldn't day since I didn't buy it there.
Your Shadowbringers registration code is what gives you the license for the game in mogstation and allows you to continue playing the expansion after Early Access ends. The shadowbringers registration key also provides your digital collectors edition items if you ordered the Collector's Edition.
The shadowbringers registration key and the Collector's Edition key are the same. It should not be confused with the 'PreOrder bonus items" code. That code is different. The preorder bonus code is the one you received from the SE store/STEAM when you preordered the game. You take that code and then have to convert it through SE's redemption site that then spits out your actual early access code which also gives your preorder bonus items as well as Early access. (Why must SE make this so convoluted lol)
Later when the expansion launches, your Collector's Edition/Shadowbringers registration key will become available on the SE store/STEAM. In the past, this code wasn't made available until around the day of actual release.
the early access code can be redeeem it now or later? i enter the code in my account but nothing happens....
Yeah, i just realized I'm a steam user... i made a huge mistake, still want the physical collector, but I think I have to rebuy the shadowbringers expansion on steam to actually play... if there's no other way... just have a extra code lol
Damn you gamestop for not putting up pre-orders on ya website! Guess I gotta trade my gift card with my brother or a friend to get it for me.
Why such the rush to order, there is plenty of time, lol
I don't think they are available yet for us console folk. But have not really checked and was going to wait anyhow
From the PSA thread, I think Steam just gives you the converted code for the preorder that can be used directly on the mog station (no need to go to the converter site) and the actual expansion/CE code which will be used later (may or may not be used directly on mog station).
How does the EA process work if you're buying it through the Playstation store?
Any idea how does the PS4 PSN digital collector's "code" work? I have preordered mine but haven't received any code to register onto account on mog station...
Me thinks I might sue the PSN.. again...
No, the PSN handles everything for you. You dont need to enter any codes if you are on PS4. The dev's stated this yesterday on another thread. one sec and I'll snag the source for further instructions.
Here you go, Direct from Community Team Rep Bayohne:
You will get Heavensward and Stormblood with your purchase of Shadowbringers, but you cannot use them until that expansion is actually released (28th June). So you'll have to decide whether or not to wait just over 4 and a half months to get it included or to buy Stormblood now so you can get ready before Shadowbringers launches. There's a lot of MSQ in Stormblood you'll have to do either way, not so much that it'll take you 4 months, but it might not be fun being the guy playing the previous expansion/trying to queue for old dungeons when the majority of people are playing the new shiny expansion :D
Second time actually as they already did this exactly same thing with Stormblood. Buying the latest expansion gets you the previous expansion(s). Going forward it looks like this is how it'll be for all future expansions as well.
