Anymore unicorn fanatics out there?

I'm praying Unicorn and Nightmare will both be able to fly soon.

Oh yes Nightmare too please! Maybe not a rainbow for him though lol.

My unicorn was my first pony and what got me started on my collection of one seater pony mounts. Would be nice to have a reason to use it more often :(

Yes, please! I miss my unicorn! While I don't have any of the primal ponies or Nightmare herself, but please SE! Make unicorns great again!

I don't even HAVE the unicorn (my conjurer is perpetually stuck at level 23 or something), but I agree with this idea wholeheartedly!

I also think that Nightmare should have dragon or demon/like wings

We did it, fam! In 4.5, the Unicorn, Nightmare, and all other elemental ponies will achieve liftoff!

If only it didn't look so lazily done.
I was so dissapointed to see Nightmare just float there. Kirin has shiny wings, why couldn't Nightmare have something too? I highly doubt any of the other ponies have those either.
As much as I'm glad that ponies can finally fly I'm personally getting tired of "floating" land mounts with no wings/special effects whatsoever :/

I was hoping they would have gotten the same treatment as Pegasus and have wings. They're literally the same horse model anyway, but I suppose this is better than nothing.

I do agree, but I understand why they didn't. If they had added wings then people wouldn't try for the Pegasus, Black Pegasus and Astrope mounts anymore. I would absolutely love to fly on a winged version of the primal ponies + Unicorn and Nightmare.

To be fair, with Nightmare it makes sense. It already has wind around its hooves.

I must disagree. I generally dislike wings and effects. Wings tend to make a very audible flap sound, which grows old. Sometimes special effects can make noise too, which grates on my ears after a while (I'm looking at you, Fenrir, as much as I love you). I much prefer mounts that are a smooth, quiet ride.

Haha they finally did it! Awesome :D Now I can use all those mounts I got back in 2014 ^^

But still no flying fish lizards, huh? Outrageous.

Meh, not surprised the dev team chose the lazy path, the ponies are just like the other senseless mounts that fly without any logic, they just float in the air, at least the Unicorn got a minuscule particles effect!...


They should have given these ponies light wings just like Kirin, it's sad they didn't take the suggestion seriously!...

They don't need wings. Aetherial wings are usually tacky-looking and the horses already have elemental aether effects on their hooves anyway. Wings would be superfluous.

Also isn't a unicorn with wings then not really a unicorn

I would have these ponies have Pegasus-like wings made of light while they fly, regardless of their respective primal colors/effects!...


If the dev team won't do it then I hope some very talented modder will take up the task, though it seems hard to modify the models only while flying!...

I honestly don't like the kirin wings and the weird sparkly sound it makes so I never use it. I'm glad that the primal mounts don't have that effect.

They all leave a subtle trail of their element from their hooves as they fly. I wish it was a bit more pronounced though, had to squint to see it.

Well I'm a bit late replying here, was too excited riding my pony around and totally forgot to lol. I am extremely happy to have my little friend back again. It's no rainbow, but the glittery sparkles are lovely. So so happy.

(Secretly hopes SE will add the rainbow one day anyway). :P

Yes, add flying to the unicorn and give it a rainbow! Unicorn Pride!
