There's plenty of ways you can show off the appeal of the male physique™ but just shoehorning crossdressing boys in is weird and out of place.

see now that's just your opinion and that's okay they are not for everyone but not a good reason for it not to be in the game.
males in bunny suits or women clothing are not my fetish much as you'd like to think (a little creepy you thinking of my fetish) and it doesn't always have to be a fetish thing some people can find it funny especially in japan where they find cross dressing funny even having some celebrity become famous from cross dressing.

really there is no problem with a NPC in a bunny suit isn't gonna be a game breaking thing chill out
3/10 you tried thread wont be getting necro'd anytime soon.
100% correct here glad you understand and on the same page that we should have male bunny suit NPC in gold saucer
and sadly i do not have any rabbit holes in my area they are a controlled animal sorry to disappoint but your interest in my rabbit hole is moot only bunny's you'll be getting the male ones at gold saucer.
I don't mind male NPCs wearing it, but jeez can we leave it alone already?
We bombarded interview questions with this already. Next we're going to ask if Moogles can wear them too.
Agreed!
I'm hoping they go with the conventional route and give us eye candy in the form of men showing off their muscles in a pair of swimming trunks or some such. The male counterpart for a 'bunny' outfit has typically been the sort of outfits seen in movies such as Magic Mike, anyway. It's also very common for the men working in that industry to dress up as firemen, police officers and cowboys.

Again, these NPC's have been in the Gold Saucer since the day it was released. I fail to see how the Bunny Outfit would be in any way out of place, especially under the 'fetish' argument given our friend's lovely subligar gear in this screenshot.
I didn’t say it’s not a fetish, I said no one has said it’s their fetish. If you’re so against men in heels you should’ve stated your opinion and then let this thread die out. Instead you’ve been in here stoking the flames and accusing anyone in favor of having this fetish.
I know you are trolling at this point (please let that be true, otherwise you have some serious issues to work out) but I will humour you anyway.

This is the bunny outfit. Note the large comedic bow, and silly floppy ears. The outfit is intentionally outlandish and silly, and that is exactly what the gold saucer is about. It's funny, if this outfit had been just male and a female outfit had never existed, it wouldn't even be considered crossdressing (which it isn't), just a fun gold saucer cosplay outfit.
Oh, and I just wanted to trigger you some more, so have some official (and frankly iconic) final fantasy goodness:

These threads are at least nice for helping me round out my blacklist.
both sides need to calm down.
im sorry are you playing the same game as we are, the game with catgirls and waifish little lizard girls running about, are you genuinely this dense as to why these character designs exist, lmfaoooooooo
anyway if you interpret anything that isn't your own sexual fantasies as a "fetish" then you're the biggest problem in this entire thread buddy
I'm all for people wearing whatever they want, but I don't think MGS employees should be forced to conform.
There are the three guys in sailor suits there, change them into male bunnies. They looked hideous before, so its not like it changes much.
Wouldn't the equivalent of the female bunny suit be the Chippendale outfit Patrick Swayze & Chris Farley wore in Saturday Night Live?

I think this would be a better alternative. Even the shirtless version.

Look, I'm gonna get real here for a second: what people wear is none of yr business. Not mine, not yours, not anyone's. In this case with the bunny suit then yeah, it's an instance of a sexualized outfit. But the fact that you (general you at every person wailing about how it's the end times) consider it depraved and disgusting when it's on men and not on women is one hell of a fucking double standard.
The only reason y'all perceive men in feminine clothing or people who want to see that as "depraved" or "not right in the head" is because of social and cultural norms and your own biases. Going against them does not make anyone a pervert or trying to push a fetish. And even in cases like the bunny suit where things are a little sexier? Need I remind you of actual in-game content such as:

....I will never quite understand why people get so offended over what other people wear inside of a video game, let alone an NPC. Especially since the people complaining it's a god awful thing have probably never spent more than 5-10 minutes in the Gold Saucer to do the Mini-Cactpot or check the big one. Hell, most people just AFK by the Aetheryte or they're also too busy Chocobo Racing to even care about the other NPC's.
I mean, come on, they're nameless NPC's dear god. You'll see them walking around and then forget that they exist the next day. You mention about men wearing revealing clothing and all of a sudden they remember these NPC's again out of the blue.
You know where the bunny outfits would fit?
The Time of My Life.
I might even run that GATE again if that happens
Also when you think about it: where else would bunny suits be more fitting than in the realm of Godbert "clothes are fake" Manderville.
I find the set silly-looking on either gender, so I'm mostly indifferent. But this thread makes me want to see it on NPCs in game just to bug people.
Well, the thing is I don't care if it's sexualized, be it males or females...but please be sexy in clothings that are appropriate to your gender.
But I don't care if they happen to implement it tho. Take my statement something like: "Your cooking sucks, but don't let my comment keeps you from cooking...but I still think it sucks".
So you want people to be okay with the insult because you recognize you have no stakes in the argument? What? It doesn't work that way.
Also "appropriate to gender" is laughable when appropriate clothing is enforced by societal norms that have shifted and changed across thousands of years and cultures... it's still changing, you just haven't caught up with it yet. :)
Good lord this thread...
Is it really that bad to give one or two male NPC's the bunny outfit in the Gold Saucer?
Correct answer is no. Pretty sure most people only go into Gold Saucer for the Mini and Jumbo Cactpot and nothing else.
Yes, you are most definitely entitled to your own opinion and have the freedom to express it....and other people are just as free to contest you on it with their own. Freedom of speech doesn't protect you nor exempt you from criticism by others. By all means, have an opinion at your own leisure...just realize that no one has to accept it nor agree with you having it.
