Sorry if this is obvious, but how does the housing storage room work?
One storage per "housing" or per character? If it's per housing, can I go into someone else's storage and add/remove items?

Still no macro command to hide the job gauge. Can change it to simple and back, but can't hide it.
Still no gold saucer outfit for the dudes, it seems. That's sad.
If that is the only real definition of it in your opinion that's great.
But it is not GroupedMassiveMultiplayerOnline.
Just means you are online the same time as many people in the same world.
Most modern mmos with great graphics, servers can't even handle massive anything without lag for most players in a dynamic open world and retain extreme difficulty.
If you want to be that technical, you don't even have to all be in the same world. It is sufficient if there are many (Massive) players that can potentially somehow connect to each other (Multiplayer) via the internet (Online).
There doesn't even have to be a persistent world, if you are technical about the term. League of Legends would qualify, as MMOBA.
The true definition of MMORPG: Many Men Online Role Playing Girls
Also, did anyone ever say when the next Relic quest is coming out? Have not seen it at all anywhere mentioned.
why add Ixion Barding though? the Fate was so congested they had to add instances and nerf the mount acquisition, now they want to add another reward?
So we need to complete 2 full Alliance raids to get the Duty finder for them? This seems rough for someone like me who is new to the game. I really want to experience those raids. Am I understand this wrong or will I have to try and PF to get my base clears?
I don't understand the point of barding in the first place. They have no functional value. Plus, chocobos are the ugliest and most generic mount options in the game. The only use for them is in solo content to have some backup in which case nobody else is there to show your fugly chicken to anyway.
It would be neat if we could get armour for our other mounts, the drake mount is really awesome! but you sit on nothing against the scales it seems like it would be painful, especially in thin clothes.
There's no problem. Some people just like to voice their displeasure whenever some aspect of the game they don't like and/or care about gets updated. Personally I don't care about barding either but not enough to vent about it.
On topic now: I am preparing my body and soul for the squats. I just can't decide which track from Crisis Core I'm gonna pick to play when I'm doing them.
one hairstyle?
FINALLY
Companions and minions can be summoned at the same time. ITS LIKE CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY.
I sincerely hope the new emotes aren't restricted to the Mog Station. And that the new glamours aren't biased in favour of females (gender restrictions) again. But I'm pretty sure I'll be disappointed come patch day...
Super hyped about Shinryu EX though, I can't wait to die a bunch. More Hildy and Return to Ivalice are very welcome too. I'll try out the squadron stuff if it means I'll get stuff but all my jobs are long past the point of needing to run those dungeons.
Honestly the best part is all the QoL stuff. Might not be glamorous or exciting compared to content but I'm stoked about some of the changes. Finally can have a minion and my chocobo out, a tab for beast tribe currencies, and sensible storage solutions for housing... all very nice.
This is the thin end of the wedge, showing the devs thinking direction. It's the first stage of an idea that shouldn't be anywhere near an mmo. You and no one else in a group - absolutely ideal for a single player game.
I fear the next step will be 'we have expanded the squadron groups to xxxxx content'. That's the thing about thin end of wedges - they get bigger, and by then it is too late to change direction.
Irrespective of the current limitations of the idea, it ends up with players in complete isolation grouping entirely with npc bots. It shows a thinking direction which shouldn't be anywhere near an mmorpg.
These are what stood out to me:
They finally delivered on their promise to make Sleipnir fly.
They're adding more metallic dyes finally, albeit orange and yellow which are ugly af, but it gives me hope that someday soon we'll get more.
We can go back to The Royal Menagerie—I'll probably just AFK there all day now.
The broom mount gets a special action, just in time for Halloween.
Ventures/Beast Tribe tokens finally making their way into the Currency tab.
Housing storage, which will free up a good two pages on one of my retainers.
Excited to run the new dungeon, raid, and ex-trial of course, but sometimes the small gestures make a larger impression.
Have you not done anything for your Grand Company? When unlocking your Squadron, you are such a high rank that you are a commanding officer. You are given a duty to have underlings that you have to train. The more they get stronger, you will achieve your next military rank. It's the only way to progress in the Grand Company. Have you no idea on how militaries work?
Then I guess you would be pitching a fit if you played FFXI, because of Trust NPCs you can summon with your own character that are AI controlled. It's basically the same thing. It's supposed to be a fun activity. No one is forcing you to do that. You're making a big deal out of it like you have your dinner plate and all of your food is touching each other.
Chocobo companion customization. If there is "functional" value, having unique barding and feather coloration in it's vanity allows you to keep better tabs on the NPC.
Minions and vanity in general has no "functional" value, but no one wants them gone because they are fun and personal. Same thing with our birds.
(Though, I do wish we could make other mounts into our combat companion.)
Why do u care if more people want to do old content by themselves. What if I'd rather farm the hw primal with others? They could balance this u shouldn't have to do everything in the game with three or four other people all the time. It's plenty of solo focus mmos that do just as well as others. And also it's always optional so if u want to party up with others all the time it's nothing stopping u.
I feel like everyone losing it over squadrons would flip out if they realized how many players use the undersized option to knock out old content. Sastasha sync'd can take about 20 minutes, unsync'd can be cleared SOLO in about 5.
NOT TO MENTION that the plan with Squadrons was to ALWAYS have them act as dungeon companions. It just took forever for the next phase to be implemented.
Tbh Squadron was their first idea for solo dungeons during the end of ARR then they made unsynched a thing and honestly I thought the squadron option would end up a discarded Idea.
I'll be frank I was surprised to see that coming, but even now I still don't know what they are gonna be outside of optional content, I'll reserve m judgement after I'll have given a try on the dungeon thing anyway
I think square enix never take the good way about SMN adjustement,
the actual problem with the smn rotation is bahamut'' for maximise the dps with bahamut we must wait etherflow and addle,
to correct it must just put the wyrmwaves of bahamut in automatic ''
For death problem'' do not loses bahamut stack after with death '' and reset lucid dreaming !!!
Actually is a nerf for me for all best summoner player,
all good smn will spam ruin 3 and never need mana,
actually we loses the combo '' R4+R2+fester for maximise dps !
and we loses 20 of potency in main spell /puke !
Smn mobility is fine, why upgrade mobility in DWT ?
Why remplace ruin 1 per ruin 3,
why not just decrease the mana cost of ruin 3 ?
if square enix know how much the actual change of the summoner changes nothing,
and is a big nerf for great smn !
I was saddened to find that they separated the housing storage into inside and outside sections. I know that what you own determines how much space you get, however I was looking forward to being able to store seasonal event outside furnishings to get back retainer space even though I own only an apartment, which apartment owners get zero outside storage space. I figured buy one time limited outside furnishing like the Eastern Cherry Petal Pile to hold onto when I eventually get a house. SE mentions a storage system, I get excited, half of it gets shot to pieces. Oh well. Tons of stuff in these notes I'm looking forward to at least.
With the ability to craft them dropping to level 15, I expect we'll see more people just unlocking the ability to make their own rather than buying them. So there might be a bit of an initial surge, but it won't last long and is likely to end up with prisms cheaper than now.
If the mats stay the same, that would be useful. But in dropping the level of the recipes from 30 to 15, it's quite possible their mats could change as well. (We wouldn't see something like that until the full patch notes are available.)
EDIT: Come to think of it, maybe not. We might not be given the specific material changes, but even preliminary notes would mention something along the line of "materials for certain recipes have been updated" and I didn't see a section like that. So yeah, go for it. Those mats may be getting some new demand.
