I was going to back-order, but it seems you have to register to do so, -and- you have to add your credit card details to register so they can "check them", even when I have no plans to use my card to pay since I use Paypal only.
I guess I'll wait and hope the gametime cards are restocked before the 20th after the waiting list is cleared.
I play with an EU acccount but don't live in the UK so I tried to use a Mail Forwarder. Unfortunately I couldn't register on the retarded ShopTo website because my forwarding address is 1) too long and 2) has a slash "/" and dash "-" in them.
It seems that even if I can order (PS4 time card as I already own other titles) they don't have the stock and I won't get a code even if I pay now as I will have to physically receive the order in order to get a code. It also seems that at the start of the event, most of the items are on back order.
Wow. I gotta hand it to Square Enix to choose a piece of shit like ShopTo.
I know I'm likely in the vast minority when saying this but I actually hope that if they do europe campaigns, that they stick to online methods, instead of something like Gamestop, as I'd have to travel around 40 to 60 miles to get to the closest Gamestop store from where I live. And that's assuming I even have accurate info, as some of the nearby ones have gone out of buisness lately
I am fine with online, but then it has to be a place where one can order digital codes and not just physical games/items. A large part of us does not live in the UK, some of us outside the European Union and I would never bother to order a game from a site where I would have to pay for them to send it too me. I'd buy it where I live, or from a site that offered digital codes. I also think having digital download codes would remove the problem of items going out of stock as we have seen here.
II hope SE comes with some kinda clarification here, as I would really prefer not to back-order and then have to wait an unknown amount of time for the codes
It's been 24 hours now since they took my money for my order and still no codes. My Order tab is empty still... But the money went through and they sent me an email that confirms my order.
I feel scammed at this point, and I had to spend £47 because of shipping costs, since I don't live in UK.
SE, your playerbase is being cheated on your own promo, and your reputation is falling drastically. Fix this!
I received my codes, so I'm happy - I now have all the promotional items that I desired to add to my collection. With that said, it took a very long time to reach this point and I do hope that things will be smoother for European players if there's another promotion in the future. I believe there's still a lot of people who are in need of codes, though so I really hope things work out for them too.
It seems Australians CAN use this campaign, but... it would be so much better to have a specific AU/Oceanic offer as well. This ShopTo event is bollocks.

I don't own a credit card. I always make my purchases through paypal or iDeal. Therefore I cannot make an account. Therefore I cannot participate in the campaign.

After going to hell and back (EU promo)
I wish to help with the confusion, frustration many of us have been experiencing. The shear volume heading to the site for the promotion has caused the site to slow, crash, not display correctly and has only help feed our frustration. If you have placed a order the codes are also not in the "DLC" section in your account but rather in the "orders" section of your account at the bottom of your order (once you clicked on your order <if it displays>) My understanding is that back orders will still come under the promotion (according to a previous post, page 7~8 and a talk with shopto.net by another here <I can not conform this 100% but I have some faith> ) payment can also be made through PayPal if you fear the talk of using a Credit card.
This has been a big failure that can be traced back all the way to previous promotions (demand, regional promotions) I just hope everyone can get there promo codes and that SE, 3rd parties can learn from mistakes.
debit card?? I don't have a credit card, I use a debit card because I don't trust myself with money i don't own...I asume you're over the age of 18...cuz...like everyone over the age of 18 should have that at the very least, c'mon.
Go to your bank, set up an appointment with them (or some even does it straight away) and they'll make one for you there and then or send it to your address within 1-2 working days or however long they take. It's not SE's fault YOU don't have something that most people have.

Can you help us here, lakukisu? We want to know if purchasing two items with the same account will give us two codes so two different players living in the same house would be able to get their codes.
What a load of garbage Oceanic players are NOT included unless we play on an EU account.
The NA promotion excluded us as well.
It's been 2 days since I made my purchase and I still didn't get a code. I tried submitting a ticket, but upon pressing send, it redirected me to a error 404 outdated link...
So, we can't even submit a ticket to this ShopTo and yet they can instantly take our money?

Yea it's auto, pretty sure it comes down to what version you brought. but you can check by doing the following steps:
1. Access the MogStation.
2. Navigate to 'Square Enix Account Settings'
3. Click on 'Account infomation' on the drop down menu.
4. Enter your birthdate on the account.
5. Under Country there should be a column that tells you what region your account is in.
ShopTo strikes again.
Just received an email telling me that my Preorder is cancelled by Admin as they can no longer obtain the item from suppliers.

They have already removed it from the list of games, meaning that this, Just Cause 3 and Just Cause 3 Gold Edition plus the other game already mentioned aren't included.
I've gone back to a pointless Timecard but don't hold out much hope
