Regarding the issue that occurs after beating “The Pool of Tribute” (Susano)

[9:01]On Jun. 18, 2017 9:00 (GMT) / On Jun. 18, 2017 10:00 (BST), we will be performing an emergency maintenance on “The Ruby Sea” for a few minutes as a tentative measure to address the issue which cause an error to occur after beating “The Pool of Tribute” and users are no longer able to log in.
[9:01]During maintenance, users will not be able to enter the area in question.
[9:01]Please be sure to move to another area or log out before maintenance begins.

Yes, but maintenance coming up in 4 mins to fix it apparently. However, having logged on and looked, the Pools of Tribune trial didn't complete (even tho we finished it, boss was dead and i had 'duty completed' message). I don't even wanna think about going in there again ><

Try now, it's fixed.

The problem was indeed using and emote like sitting, because after the fight you're teleported to underwater.

Emote: No one.. i not perform any emote, i just complete the quest and get "disconnected" and unable to re-connect.

EDIT: trying to reconnect has worked, now i'm inside the game in front of the quest.. I'll do it later :P

We'll see if it actually worked in about 4 hours time.

Trial wasn't completed when I finally managed to get back on. I've just done it again, no cutscene, no completion again. There's no option to abandon the quest in my journal in order to pick it up again and re-do it, so I've had to log an in-game ticket to get this damn thing completed and out of my journal.

An emergency maintenance was performed on The Ruby Sea which should have solved this problem for players that have posted in this thread. As some of you have pointed out, the best course of action is to restart the FFXIV client and attempt to log back into your characters in game. If you are still having any trouble, please feel free to submit a support ticket through the game client. With the maintenance concluded, I will also be locking this thread.
