Disapointed i now have to use the disc.
Got this issue myself having to reinstall the entire game myself (will take days to download). I hope se plans on compensating for this issue as currently its unlikely i will see early access after having paid for it! To which se are responsable.
Im not getting the CE-30022-7 error but something else that says "unable to complete version check", i don't know what to do or if i just wait until Square Enix does something or whatever.
Well i said countless times that the launcher/updater is very out dated, however and not sure if this has changed for PS4 but PSN do throttle download speeds on the console.
I get around 45 mb on my laptop and PS4 it is far less :(
This of course may not be the issue. I get around 4 or 5 mb/s (via the updater) and had issues downloading patch files last time i had to re-install.
I have a distinct feeling i may need to get a VPN again just to be safe
@ PrimalPorter, sadly i doubt it. I had contacted support when i had download patch issues for a month and lost sub time, they did not seem to care :(
On PS4-PRO, launched the Heavensward client this morning and got CE-30022-7 after auto-updating to 5.02. Reinstalling eveything from zero, now at 14/22 Gb inside client at 0,48mb/s. 1 day totally lost...
You will find the game in your Library. Download it from there.
We were lucky with our ps4 (pro) update... but heard horendous tales from friends about the same stuff. Haven't even been talking about that because we got lucky.... see how that goes? That's people for you. So; this sucks as well guys, hope you get 'lucky' enough to play and 'enjoy' 'early access' for a tiny bit .... horendous.
I also have this issue, Ever since the launch day at 2am, I've tried everything that the forums and internet provided, Resetting both modem & router, changing DNS, port forwarding, un & re installing the game (in which I suggest you DO NOT DO becuase well in my situation will make it MUCH worse) and even that moblie hotspot option I've found on a different thread. I completely exhausted every step I came across. So if anyone has any suggestions (besides contacting Square Enix in which I have contacted their support and was kept in queue for 6 hours and with no contact with an agent, But don't get me wrong. I'm sure they're busy helping people with same issue I have so no biggie.) I'll be more than happy to try them. But now I'm thinking that it maybe due to server congestion but IDK, thats why I turned to the forums.
I just got error CE-30022-7. I haven't had any issues accessing the game on my PS4 since the 16th. My power went out earlier today and when I tried reopening the game after taking a nap, the error occurred, shut down my PS4, and I now have to redownload the game in its entirety, which is a process that will take a minimum of 7 hours, not counting the network issues I've heard happen when you have to redownload the whole game. This is ridiculous.
The behavior I observed started off with the game needing to download patch H2017.06.06.0000.0001g. The last letter tends to vary but is always lower case. It would download the circa 14GB component over the course of about 5 hours with a rate that fluctuated between 1.30 and 1.42MB/s, which is normal for me, and indicate at the end that it failed to install the patch. Upon one such reattempt, I received the error CE-30022-7. I've since uninstalled the program from my PlayStation4 entirely and spent all of Sunday downloading it again. Upon returning home from work today, I signed in only to be presented with a download of the same patch as before. I'll admit that I'm not optimistic at this point. If a complete uninstall doesn't address it, I'm unsure what component to adjust in what way on my side.
